About this property

We rent out a large half of our renovated, beautiful country house right on Lake Bottschlotter near Dagebüll in the North Frisian marshland. It has two bedrooms, each with high-quality box spring beds, lying area 180 x 200 and 160 x 200 cm. An open kitchen with a view of the garden and the lake is fully and modernly furnished. A beautiful country-style dining area with a view of the fields to the outer dike of the North Sea. Large bathroom with walk-in shower and underfloor heating. A huge terrace with an unobstructed view over the lake to the horizon leaves nothing to be desired for relaxation. WiFi available.
Many windows with a view of fields up to the outer dike behind which the North Sea is located and of course the lake. The large park-like garden with old fruit trees and sunny squares is also available to our guests. Through the garden you can reach the lake which invites you to swim, fish or canoe in just a few steps.
Ask for special arrangements out of season, even in the winter and autumn months the location is incredibly attractive: the lake is almost up to the terrace and is used as a stopover by thousands of migratory birds. In the western part of the house there is an approximately 75 square meter apartment that is tastefully and comfortably furnished. An option for staying with friends or for a very large family.

Abgelegen schön...

Wer das ein will muss das andere mögen. Wer sich nach Abgeschiedenheit sehnt ist in und um das Rosenhaus am See richtig. Erholung pur auf einen super Grundstück und in einem tollen Haus. Es fehlt an nichts!!! Nur das Internet sollte zwingend schneller werden ;-) Aber wen das nicht stört, wird diese Ferienwohnung lieben. Nur zur Info, die zwei Schlafzimmer liegen hintereinander!

Urlaubstage auf dem Lande

Die Wohnung war sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet, die Betten waren bequem. Leider trafen wir in dieser Wohnung auf viele Spinnen, so dass wir nach 4 Tagen früher abgereist sind. Natürlich ist uns klar, dass wir auf dem Lande und in der Natur gewohnt haben. Aber das Haus ist über 100 Jahre alt und mit vielen Holzbalken versehen, wo sich die Spinnen wohl aufhalten, es waren uns jedenfalls entschieden zu viele Spinnen. Also, man sollte diese Tiere schon mögen, wenn man dort hinfährt.

Herbsturlaub 2019

Wir haben vom 24.9.-2.10. ein paar wundervolle, entspannte Tage am Bottschlotter See verbracht. Wir fanden die Lage ideal für Ausflüge auf die Halligen, nach Sylt, für Vogelbeobachtungen entlang der ganzen Küste und Spaziergänge entlang den Deichen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen. Zwar verläuft die Strasse direkt vor den Schlafzimmern, aber da vor dem Haus weder gebremst, noch beschleunigt werden muss und nachts nach zehn Uhr praktisch keine Fahrzeuge auf dem Waygaarddeich verkehren, haben wir trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen. Die Betten sind auch sehr bequem. Wenn wir zwei Wünsche anbringen dürften: Bitte unbedingt die Bratpfannen austauschen. Sie sind alle total verkratzt. Ausserdem waren wir als Schweizer mit der deutschen Abfalltrennung etwas überfordert. Eine kurze Anleitung würde da helfen. Ansonsten war alles top und wir werden die Wohnung sehr gerne weiter empfehlen. Als Tip für andere Landratten: Unbedingt vorher den Gezeitenkalender studieren, wenn man eine Wattwanderung machen möchte. Wir hatten zu spät realisiert, dass tagsüber Flut sein würde und konnten leider nicht durchs Watt wandern.
