If you’re looking for peace and tranquility, look no further! This carriage house is on 11 acres of forest just down the road from Shawnee mountain and 20 minutes from Camelback. A quiet getaway in the heart of skiing, hiking, kayaking, biking, golfing, and all sorts of outdoor experiences. The house has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and an outdoor fire pit area to roast marshmallows and hang out in the evenings. Close to restaurants and breweries -including PA’s only sake brewery!

Quite little get away

We had a wonderful time at this quite little cottage. The place was spotless and well equipped. It was just what we needed for a wonderful weekend get away. We plan to book again in the very near future. Thank you so much

Clean and cozy cottage!!

Immaculate, cozy, comfy and a minute from Shawnee Mountain. My fiancé and I enjoyed our long weekend away from home. The cottage definitely made us feel like home and had us very comfy for our entire stay. Would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to get away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Awesome stay

The property was beautiful and well kept. We stayed during a snow storm and kept up on snow maintenance. We would definitely stay there again in the future and recommend to everyone wanting a peaceful weekend getaway!

Most comfortable VRBO ever

This cozy carriage house was everything we could have wanted in a weekend away. Couch and bed were so comfy. Plenty of blankets, well equiped kitchenette and awesome water pressure in the shower. Probably my favorite place I've rented!

Perfect Getaway

Property was perfect for what we were looking for. My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing long weekend hiking, site seeing, dining and shopping. The property was a perfect place to sleep in, watch movies and relax in. We had a comfortable sectional in the woods with a propane fire pit that was perfect for reading my book. Place had a small kitchenette that we could warm up food and a small fridge for drinks. Host was quick to respond to all messages and location was in the middle of all of our weekend activities.

Why they chose this property

Gene and I had always wanted to live out in the woods, but our jobs kept us tied to the city. In a post-pandemic world we decided to "retire" early and move into the log cabin we've always dreamed of having. We love the peace and quiet of the woods, as well as the beauty of nature.

What makes this property unique

We loved this house the moment we stepped inside. We knew it was meant for us! Whenever we would vacation, we would always rent a log cabin on VRBO wherever we went. Now it feels like a vacation every day...!
