We stayed here for a wedding. Enjoyed the outside space during the beautiful weather. The house was stocked with all the needed amenities and more. Comfortable beds and bedding for a great nights sleep!
This house was perfect for my big family. We really loved the location as it was near the families we were visiting. It was really nice to check into a house that had basic things like trash bags, spices, etc. because a lot of times you go to VRBO places and they don’t even have a salt shaker or dishwasher pods. This place had everything it was very clean and had nice furniture and bedding. I would definitely stay here again.!
A delightful long weekend was spent here in this lovely farmhouse. As noted the stairs are uneven, but with care gave us no problem ! It has been made very comfortable while preserving the old fashioned charm! We hope to return 😊
This was the perfect choice for our 8 girls' reunion weekend! Such a beautifully renovated farmhouse, to-die-for beds, well stocked and appointed everything! (Although the kitchen was missing a corkscrew, a rather important item!) I'd recommend to families, couples, friends, it was absolutely lovely.
We loved the charming farmhouse and the convenient location. The house had lots of nooks and crannies like an office area upstairs and a nook near the master bedroom with a table and mirror perfect for putting on make up. The living room area had lots of windows and the kitchen was warm and friendly.
Plenty of room with modern appliances and tech friendly! Description is accurate with all bedrooms upstairs. Use extra care when descending stairs as they are a bit steep.
We booked for Memorial Day Weekend for a softball tournament with another family. Very convenient location to the fields. The house was clean and updated. Directions and communication were clear and easy to follow. I would definitely stay there again.
What an unexpected find! This darling country home is modern with just the right amount of rustic, farmhouse charm. The kitchen is large and spacious, and the bedrooms are each uniquely decorated with care. We are already looking forward to our next stay.
Great place to visit with old friends and make new ones.
Marine buddies getting together for Gettysburg Bike Week. Traveled from 2 hours to 8 hours away. Accommodations were excellent. 4 well equipped bedrooms and 2 baths, nice neighborhood, close to stores and restaurants. The ride from Chambersburg to Gettysburg was a nice ride. So happy we stayed out of the chaos and enjoyed the commaraderie.
Just the stairs are a problem - too shallow for a foot to fit on them and one step - third one up is a full inch shorter than others - several of us adults fell or mistepped
Not only is this home updated, clean, and comfortable, but the hosts are communicative, kind, and fair. Despite a booking mishap, the hosts were quick to respond and make it right which immediately gained our trust and return business.
The farmhouse is immaculately renovated without losing the charm and nostalgia of its origins. Linens and kitchen were stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay. The beds were divinely comfortable and we loved being lulled to sleep by the amphibious orchestra outside. The morning traffic was a bit loud for the front bedrooms but the back bedroom was insulated nicely.
The only thing to look out for is one step midway up the stairwell that is carpeted but not a full step which got everyone in our party at some point. No one was majorly injured, in fact, we all had a few good laughs as it seemed to pluck us all down one by one. Once we knew to look out for that step we were fine.
We loved star gazing from the covered balconies at night, having family meals at the dining table, and the little one absolutely enjoyed staying in his own 'apartment' in the attic. The perfect room for kids to hang out, and have their own space.
We will definitely be back to the farmhouse and the host's other properties as well!
