About this property

Cozy Home Quiet Neighborhood - 10 minutes to downtown Greenville

NOTE ... A discount is given for those staying beyond a month or more (and more so if paying for the total stay in advance).

NOTE TOO: This is our own personal home when we're not ourselves away, and we do like having those who stay as personal guests ... not mere renters. If you will, do offer a bit of personal information on yourselves; your ages, and a photo are especially appreciated, and whatever you wish to share.

We are a retired couple. Sandy had the greatest career ever, raising the children. She also dabbled a bit in acquiring and selling antiques. She would be the first one to show up at the yard sales, so she did well at it. I began a career as a printing pressman, then went on to get a BS Chemical Engineering degree ... but the corporate world was not for me, and I departed to become a hippie. Later, I began performing as a singer-guitarist-entertainer, and gained a good deal of notoriety performing throughout the country at festivals and amusement parks. I am now Catholic (thank God).

So, enough of us...

Apartments are nice! Condos too ... But how about having YOUR OWN PRIVATE HOME to live in? You'll have an awesome screened-in porch with grill, a large fenced-in back yard. This home is in a nice quiet and safe urban neighborhood (where the neighbors say "Hi" to one another). I don't know about you, but I love having all my own walls, ceilings, and floors. You'll be located close to conveniences like grocery stores and coffee shops, along with restaurants, entertainment venues, parks, and so much more.

The beds are Queen size with brand new quality mattresses. The kitchen is completely equipped with everything a kitchen should have: Microwave, toaster, coffe maker, lots-a-pots and pans (good ones), mixer, dishes, cups & bowls, an awesome gas stove and full size oven ... Did I forget anything??? Oh yeah, the sink!

There's dinnerware of all kinds, silverware (that's not silver), towels, blankets and sheets, you name it. Essentially, the home will have all the amenities needed for your immediate live-in and enjoyment.

There's central AC and heat, a dish washer, washing machine and dryer.

This home has hardwood floors and lots of natural light with large updated windows, and a kitchen that has granite counters, stainless steel appliances, subway tile, and updated cabinetry.

As said, Sandy and I live in this home ourselves, so when we rent it out, we place some of our personal items, clothes, etc., in another room (which you can use as your work-office room and extra storage), having a desk and printer, and more. Your bedroom closets and drawers, will be entirely yours to make use of.

Built in 1955 ... Natural gas ... Central air, electric ... 1/3 Acres

Sandy completed her Phd in the greatest field of study ever: Being a stay-at-home mother to her children throughout their upbringing. She has also earned an honorary degree as a great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. The only other thing to make mention of is that she has OCD (Obsessive Cleaning Disorder).

Me, I'm now a retired musician/entertainer, and as our guests, you will recieve two CD recordings of mine. Once upon a time I was in the corporate world as a Chemical Engineer ... but it wasn't in the right place for me in life, so in due time, I grew long hair, and did all the things a hippie might do (well, not all).

Most especially, I am now a believer in Christ and a proud Catholic (thank God).
