Condo #8, The Stargazer Penthouse @ Joe Creek Condos

Located in the heart of the cozy town of Pacific Beach and just a brief walk to the sandy beach about a block away. Nothing is better than a typically quiet town with the sounds of the waves in the background.

This newly remodeled and updated 8 condo complex has the perfect mix of history and modern day. Visit the office or read thru the guidebooks in each condo. Surprising how this stretch of beach, villages and towns developed into what is now known as the North Beach. The nearby Museum of the North Beach also has an abundance of historical information.

A quick glimpse into yesteryear: This area was originally settled in 1863 by Henry Blodgett, a pioneer trapper and hunter. Later, he gave a portion of his 160 acres to P.H. Roundtree. In 1903, Mr. Roundtree began platting the townsite and named it Joe Creek, after the nearby creek. Later, the name was changed to Pacific Beach.

We will be adding additional photos as the new courtyard is completed any day now! Two new hot tubs, a conversation area surrounding a propane fire pit, all covered by gazebos for use 365 days a year!

New owners live on site. Life is just better at the beach!

Loved it!

The owner/managers were exceptionally kind and responsive when we needed to delay our earlier trip due to COVID. When we finally made it, we LOVED it! The 3rd floor has great views from every room. It was peaceful and spacious--perfect for an ocean getaway! We loved that it was close to the beach, clean, with cute decor and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great recs for local food, too. Highly recommended.

Listening to the sounds of the waves every night was definitely the highlight of our stay!

Everything went smoothly, the owners were very responsive. I do feel the cost per night (including fees etc) was more than the unit was worth.

Amazing views and very comfortable

The penthouse #8 is a very airy and comfortable space with a great equipped kitchen, cozy living room, and comfortable firm mattress in the bedroom. The decor is coordinated and the view of the neighborhood and ocean from the 3rd floor was really great. It is a short walk to the beach through the neighborhood, which was generally quiet. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Stunning Views

The ocean view is amazing!!! I cannot stress enough how awesome the view is!! Also only half a block from beach access. The unit is lovely with a fully equipped kitchen. The owners are extremely helpful. The unit was spotless when we arrived. Will be coming back anytime there’s an opening.

We love relaxing here and spending time alone as well as sharing with family and friends. Kick up your heels in the sand like a child or kick back with a beverage and enjoy the view. New onsite owners and managers. The office is open daily with 24 hour urgent availability. Remodel with many updates just completed including a brand new courtyard with two self sanitizing hot tubs and a comfy conversation area surrounding a propane fire pit ... all snuggled under gorgeous curtained gazebos. Available to use 365 days per year, rain or shine!

Typically, the beach is lightly populated with public access just a short 2 minute walk away. Walk down to the beach or load your lunch and beach toys into the car and use the public access where you can drive onto the beach!
