We were so pleased with our room and our host. The stay was better than we’d expected and we were very comfortable. I’d highly recommend staying with this host.The check-in process was a bit of a hassle with the timeshare push, it took my preschooler having a bathroom emergency to get out of there.Otherwise, we loved the resort, and would definitely come back!

My family and I had a wonderful stay! There were so many activities for the children to enjoy, and our host and the staff at the resort were all kind and helpful. We have a child with varied abilities and were especially appreciative of the locks and safety features on all of the doors. The place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pool water was warm! We are very likely to book again.

The resort property is very convenient to local history attractions. The resort has a good assortment of amenities. My son and I enjoyed the arcade and mini golf. The pool looks great but the weather was cool while we were traveling. The kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. The beds were comfortable and the showers were adequate. The TVs and channels provided were very good. The grounds were well maintained.

The only real negative to the whole experience is the high pressure sales pitch at check-in to buy a time share. Apartment was beautifully refurbished with SLL the amenities you would expect in your own home.

This place is just what our family needed, if not more. The resort was close to the historic triangle, allowing us to nerd out on our love of history. It was also pretty close to Newport News and Virginia Beach. You can choose to cook for yourself or go out to eat as there are plenty of restaurant options to choose fromWe did not have any issues and had no need to contact anybody during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and everything else was in working order.
