Cute and Quiet
This is a nice house for our family of four and two dogs! It had everything we needed and conveniently located near the university.

Cute property, great host!
Cute, clean house. There was a slight issue at check in due to a miscommunication by VRBO. Kayla, the host, was very responsive and made everything right within a few minutes. We had an enjoyable stay.

Not as advertised
We were so excited to stay for the Tucson Festival of Books, but this property was not what we were expecting. A few (big) things: 1) Showed up late at night and no one had told us to go through the side gate, so it took us way too much time to find the entry keypad. The front door was clearly not where we entered. But we couldn't see another door. 2) Walked in and my allergies kicked up immediately because of the intense cat/litterbox smell. The space was clean, but the odor was pervasive, especially when we entered after being away for a bit 3) this property is advertised as two bedrooms. It is not. It is one space with a bed and a (homemade?) loft area with a couch and kitchen. There is one internal door: to the bathroom. Unfortunately, I already knew we were bringing a loud snorer with us, so we all slept terribly since there was no separation of spaces. The loft is also not really an option for an adult. My friend had to crawl on hands and knees and navigate a staircase with the angle of a ladder at night. We arrived so late that first night that there was legitimately no option to leave and find an alternate accommodation. This led to tears on my part. While we did enjoy having a "house" to ourselves to spread out, it was severely disappointing based on what we expected from the photos and description. Overall a 3, the lowest rating I've ever given on VRBO, as I find most places exceed expectations for me and my family. Will not stay again.

Only small criticism
We stayed a month. Could have used more storage space for stuff. Also would have liked cleaning supplies, mostly a vacuum to clean up better. Otherwise the place was nice and in a good location
