About this property
The vacation home in the barn
The house is located in a beautiful historic sandstone barn on the listed manor in Weenzen. The old masonry maintains a very pleasant temperature in the rooms even on hot days, for the cold season the barn has underfloor heating and a fireplace that can be viewed from both the living room and the kitchen.
The barn also has a sauna, solarium and bathtub with whirlpool which can be used for a fee (for three hours we charge 15 €)
The two bathrooms each have a spacious shower area and toilet with bidet. The third includes only one toilet.
The garden is clearly visible from the kitchen, the dining room and the living room through the large glass fronts. The bedrooms are on the courtyard side, where two goats are located. From an occupancy of 7 people, a bedroom is also used as a through room.
Due to the outskirts of the village it is very quiet and you have a beautiful view of the garden and the fields behind it. The conversion of the barn into a residential building was mentioned in 4 trade journals in 1994 and won a prize for "beautiful living".

Eine FeWo zum Genießen mit Charme und super Ausstattung
Die Wohnung hat schon beim Eintreten den Wow- Effekt. Die Architektur beeindruckt. Die Inneneinrichtung ist noch so, wie die ehemaligen Besitzer sie angeschafft haben- und die hatten Geld und Geschmack! Mit dem Entdecken des Hauses begibt man sich auf eine Zeitreise und es fühlt sich an, als ob die Besitzer gerade erst das Haus verlassen haben und gleich zurückkommen. Besonders schön ist, dass die Küche nach wie vor mit allen Utensilien bestückt ist, die man fürs Kochen braucht. In anderen FeWo ist Kochen eher ein Behelf.
Bei der Ankunft wurden wir mit vielerlei Aufmerksamkeiten begrüßt und der Kühlschrank war für Groß und Klein gefüllt.
Der Aufenthalt in der FeWo war einfach nur wunderschön!

Das Ferienhaus ist super.
Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Herr Treidel hat uns sehr freundlich aufgenommen.
Allerdings ist das eine Zimmer mit der Schlafcouch ein Durchgangszimmer zu dem Einzelzimmer. Also nur für eine Familie geeignet. Die Schlafcouch entspricht nicht dem Standard der anderen Betten, sodass der Aufenthalt mit 7 Leuten nicht für alle gleich ist.
Wir werden sicherlich das Ferienhaus noch einmal mieten, dann aber wahrscheinlich nur zu viert.
