Beautiful cabin

It had everything we needed. California can be a little expensive so we saved money by cooking at the cabin. The cabin was a good price with comfortable beds. Not to mention the scenery was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

Roomy & clean cabin in Arrowbear

The cabin was renovated in the majority of the rooms but the kitchen cabinets were a bit dated and not fully stocked like I’m accustomed to but besides that we were very comfortable and felt right at home!

Enjoyed the Blue Bird

We liked the cozy layout of the house. Our son enjoyed the arcade games, and we beat Bad Dudes three times. The location was great for access to tube sledding and Santas Village at Sky Park. Thank you for the hospitality.

I stay here with my family all of us absolutely loved it spacious enough to accommodate a family of 4. I really appreciate all the little touches my kids loved arcade in the kids room , beautiful decorated , amazing deck with a grill in the back of the house Balcony in master bedroom , loved everything about this place and can't wait to come back next year.

That place is overall good for the price I like the decor throughout the house.If you go in the snow you might have a hard time getting in out of the parking spot the road the house is on doesn’t get maintained.

Perfect holiday cabin

We stayed for Christmas. The house was nice and completely furnished even coffee for the morning.(we replaced the pods we used before we left) kitchen was stocked with utensils and all your cooking needs so we just had to bring food. When we got there and opened the door they had a Christmas tree all lit up for us. It was a perfect Christmas weekend with the family. Definitely would stay again.

Snow Adventure

It was a great experience right from the get-go. Booking was quite easy. The price was great. The place itself was quite cozy, my kids enjoyed it right away. Even though checking in is at 4:00 pm, they had the place ready earlier than that. I would highly recommend it. The only thing that I did not foresee was that since the place is dog friendly, I'm guessing somebody brought their cat because my husband is allergic to cats and I noticed that his allergies started to act up as soon as we settled in. It was a good thing that he had brought his allergy medication. Other than that, it was a great stay for us.

Nice place for weekend getaway

It's a beautiful modern interior house. We rent it for our family weekend getaway to big bear area. My family like the layout of the house and my sons love the kids bedroom with the old style game machine. The bunk bed for kid is important for my son and that's why I rent this place. My wife loves the kitchen with new appliances. TV has it's nice program choices. It has enough parking spot for our car. The only downside is the road to go to the place is small and it's on the cliff. You need to be extra careful to drive on this road. Try to arrive to the location when the day still bright so it's easier for you to find the location and see the road clearly.

Overall, I was happy with my stay at this property. I just have a few comments/suggestions. The neighbor has a very noisy rooster who likes to crow starting around 2am up until mid-morning. It was very disruptive. I would also recommend adding a lot more light to the home. Specifically,, more lighting needed in main living room near couch, over stove, and in the main bedroom. I had to wear my son's headlamp when trying to read sitting on the couch at night. The downstairs TV does not work. We could not get it to work using any of the provided remotes. The upstairs bathroom was not the cleanest with dead bugs on the walls, the shower faucet drips constantly, and the sink drains so slowly it nearly fills to the brim when washing your face. We also ran out of hot water by the third person showering and my daughter had to finish rinsing her hair using hot water from the kettle. With a little TLC, this property could get 5 stars but some improvements are required.

Perfect location for Snow Valley

We stayed at the "Blue Bird Beauty" with wife and kids for one night around Christmas 2022. We had a nice stay complete with a nice wood fire in the evening. The house itself is very comfortable and functional with a newly remodeled kitchen. The location is absolutely perfect and cannot be beat if you are planning to go to Snow Valley 8 min down the road. During our stay, I had a question on how to adjust the heat and how to work the fireplace. Both questions were answered by Vacasa over the phone in ~30 min, which is great during a bank holiday in the US. Reasons for not rating 5 stars below: -The listing shows "No A/C and no partial A/C". I was quite stunned was I saw that after booking and pass the cancellation deadline. Since I was renting a cabin in the mountain in December and planning to spend the night with kids with freezing temperature, I contacted Vacasa. They told me that the house had no A/C, and no heater. They said that it did have a fireplace. I had to take a long look at the pictures, to see the air vents, and contacted vacasa again. They told me that the house had forced air and that it will circulate the air between second floor and first floor where the fireplace is located. After stressing for one day, packing extra warm PJs for the kids and brining extra blankets, we were relieved to see that the house does have heating through central air (thermostat located next to mirror in living room). We ended up spending a warm night, but not before a lot of stress due to false information.
