Great place and experience!

Great location, plenty of room, loved the screen porch. Walk to everything. Will rent again for sure.

Location is the best part

The location was by far the highlight of our experience. We went away for a mother daughter weekend and the cottage was pretty gross, and definitely not worth the cleaning fee you pay for. There were roaches in the bathroom and mouse droppings under the mattress. We moved an end table a few inches to plug something in and dust bunnies were everywhere. We paid close to $1000 for the weekend and felt like that was overpriced for how dirty it was. We often camp outside on weekends and by no means am I a clean freak so for me to leave a bad review it’s out of character. The location however is fabulous, the check in process was easy, the beach DOWN THE STREET was lovely too. I reached out to the rental company and haven’t heard back about our dirty stay so I have decided to go ahead with the review.

Great location

I'll start with the positives-Price, location, large space for family of 4, easy parking, well stocked with kitchen tools. Negative-the space is rather dated. It could use some updated decor. Smells like a musty lake cabin, not sure if there's anything that can be done about that. I would say that overall, the location being able to walk to the lake and restaurants and large space definitely overshadow the negative. I would recommend that they get a dishwasher and update some of the furnishings. Also, we did not have toilet paper, which we had to go buy on our own. The host said they would compensate us for time and money on that.
