Thank you for your detailed feedback—we truly appreciate you staying with us and taking the time to share your experience. During your visit, our area was under a wind advisory with unusually strong conditions, which caused sand and debris to be blown into the pool shortly before your arrival. We would like to clarify that there was no algae present, and all pool chemicals were properly balanced and within normal levels. As soon as you contacted us at 6:30 PM, we responded immediately and sent assistance to address the situation. Despite the challenging weather conditions, the pool was cleaned and restored within about an hour, and you were notified that same evening. Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure your comfort, a professional pool service also attended the following morning. Regarding the debris you mentioned, the brushing process was part of removing wind-blown sand from the pool surfaces. At no time was the pool unsafe; however, we fully respect your decision to wait for the additional service. We would also like to clarify for future guests that the condition described was temporary and directly related to severe weather, and that the pool was promptly addressed and made available shortly after notification. The photos shared do not reflect the condition of the pool once service was completed that same evening. We understand how important the pool is to our guests, especially for families, and we always aim to resolve any issue as quickly as possible. Given that this was weather-related and addressed promptly, we were unable to offer compensation. Regarding the exterior camera, it is disclosed in the listing and is in place strictly for security purposes, as is standard in many vacation rental properties.
