With us you are right in the middle of the Mecklenburg Switzerland and Kummerower See nature park! Bathing, paddling, sailing, cycling, hiking, fishing. No matter which direction you move, you will always find a lake for swimming and paddling.

The living room:
Suitable for families with children, seniors and small groups.

Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life you will find the ideal accommodation for up to 8 people for your vacation in our holiday house. Our house is spacious, modern and fully equipped. Two gardens with lawn and play areas, swimming pool, footbridge, sandpit, grill and several seating areas - one of which is covered - ensure that your vacation starts right outside the door.

Our holiday home is particularly suitable for families with children, senior citizens and small groups. There is also equipment for babies, so you don't have to bring everything with you from home.

Access for guests:
Double garage. 2 gardens. 3 outdoor seating areas, one of which is covered. Whirlpool bath, washing machine, barbecue, sandpit, swimming pool.

Interaction with guests:
We are not on site, but can be reached at any time by phone.

Other important information:
The Müritz with the Müritz National Park is only 30 minutes away by car. The Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde or the beaches of Fischland / Darß can be reached from here in an hour by car. Here you can live very relaxed and benefit from the favorable cost structure on site.

Wieder abgereist

Leider entsprach die Unterkunft nicht unseren Erwartungen. Es gibt nur eine Toilette, was bei unserer Gruppe von 7 Personen eine logistische Herausforderung gewesen waere. Der Garten war komplett ausgetrocknet, kein Rasen wie auf den Bildern, die Sitzgelegenheiten teilweise schmutzig. Die Gastgeberin war insofern entgegenkommend, dass sie uns die Miete fast vollständig zurückerstattet hat und wir wieder abgereist sind. Zur Lage: Hinter dem Haus befindet sich ein Saegewerk und vor dem Haus die Bundesstrasse, ein Park ist in laufbarer Nähe.

Das Haus hat ausreichend Platz für 8 Personen, sowohl am Esstisch als auch an Schlafpätzen. Fast alle Räume waren zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes frisch renoviert, neu möbliert und liebevoll dekoriert worden. Es gab vom Gastgeber viele Ausflugstipps und POI vor Ort sowie Spielzeug und Bücher für die Kinder. Wir waren auf jeden Fall zufrieden.

Grundsätzlich gutes Gebaude mit Mängeln. Die Fenster ließen sich teilweise nicht schließen.

Das WC lag auf halber Geschosshöhe. Die Treppe quietschte beim Begehen. Die Matrazen waren sehr ausgelegen und verfärbt. Die Dusche im EG war sehr klein und mußte Die Wohnzimmermöbel waren sehr ausgesessen. Ich und meine Frau kamen deshalb kaum auf die Beine.

Optimale Lage für Mecklenburg-Vorpommern-Entdecker

Das Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung (auch Boccia, Sandspielzeug, Ball zum Ausleihen in der Garage) und netten Sitzecken im Garten war für uns im Corona-Sommer 2020 der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Kultur in der Mecklenburgischen Schweiz bis zur Müritz und zur Küste (Rostock, Stralsund, Greifswald). Besonders schön war für uns die Veranda, wo wir bei jedem Wetter sitzen konnten. Sehr hilfreich waren für uns die mehrere Seiten umfassenden Tipps der Vermieter für Ausflüge sowie gastronomischen Empfehlungen - das hat die Urlaubsplanung für Eltern und Kinder / Teens sehr erleichtert! Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern, die nicht vor Ort wohnen, läuft über WhatsApp, Mail oder Telefon - auch während des Aufenthalts sehr schnell und unkompliziert.

Ferienhaus, Stadtrand, alles fußläufig oder per Fahrrad zu erreichen

Das Ferienhaus war wie beschrieben, mit allem was man so braucht. Sehr schön war die überdachte Terrasse, so dass man immer draußen sitzen konnte. Alle Informationen (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten/Ausflugtipps usw.) waren extra nochmal in einer Mappe zusammengefasst. Wir haben uns gut erholt. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, auch für Familien mit kleinen Kindern. Viele Extras für die "Kleinen" standen hier zur Verfügung.

Schön, aber anders als erwartet

Wir waren mit einer befreundeten Familie für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Teterow. Das Einchecken war problemlos, da der Schlüssel vor Ort versteckt war. Wir hatten dadurch aber keine Einweisung, was wegen dem Whirlpool und den Garagenschlüsseln wünschenswert gewesen wäre. Über WhatsApp-Kontakt mit den Vermietern konnten wir die Fragen allerdings gut klären. Das Haus war sauber und für unsere Zwecke okay aufgeteilt. Das das eine Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer ist, war nicht ganz so toll, aber mit Kindern zu organisieren. Die Außenanlagen fanden wir weniger akzeptabel. Es sind zwei Gärten beschrieben, wobei einer einen Kiesboden hat, also weniger ein Garten ist, und der andere sehr klein ist. Auch der angekündigte Buddelkasten war nicht vorhanden und bei der Beschreibung Schwimmbecken, haben wir auch ein Becken zum Schwimmen erwartet. Das war ebenfalls nicht da bzw entpuppte sich als ein Planschbecken. Das war sehr ernüchternd, da wir mit 4 Kindern da waren und die Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten dadurch sehr rar waren. Das Objekt liegt außerdem an einer vielbefahrenen Straße. Der Lärm war nicht schön, aber noch erträglich, was allerdings viel schlimmer war, war die Tatsache, dass das Haus zur Straße, anders als auf den Fotos, keinen Zaun hat. Also offen zur Straße ist. Das ist mit kleinen Kindern schon sehr ungünstig. Insgesamt wirkte die Umgebung auf den Fotos auch viel großzügiger und ruhiger, das können wir aber nicht bestätigen. Das Haus ist eingebaut zwischen anderen Einfamilienhäusern. Wir haben zum Glück einen schönen Spielplatz in 10 minütiger Entfernung entdeckt und haben da viel Zeit verbracht. Unser Fazit ist deshalb, das Haus an sich ist schön, die Lage und die Gärten aber nicht. Wir würden es nicht weiterempfehlen, wobei wir trotz der beschriebenen Mängel einen schönen Aufenthalt hatten.

Schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir waren über Himmelfahrt in Teterow. Das Haus war für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt. Es besteht zudem die Möglichkeit bei gutem Wetter den Garten zu nutzen. Stadt- Ortskern fußläufig gut erreichbar. Abstimmung im Vorfeld und im Nachgang lief völlig problemlos. Das Haus kann bedenkenlos weiterempfohlen werden.
