Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

Great vacation

Property was nice and comfortable. Well enjoyed, would recommend and would also rent again. Only problem I had were the caterpillars kept coming in from somewhere..I hate those lil ugly things..they were always in the kitchen and on the walls and on the floors.

A welcome respite from a heat wave

We were very glad we had much more than a room with a half fridge as an unexpected heat wave pretty much kept us inside except for early mornings. The townhouse in a hood neighborhood near beach. The pool was a welcome retreat as well.

Cute house but not a 5 min walk to beach

We were really excited about this vacation stay, but were quickly disappointed when we took the walking path to go to The beach and then realized we had to walk though another parking lot then across the road then to the beach. There was just no way we could do that with our 4 year old while taking beach supplies so we ended up driving to the beach everyday the one thing I didn’t want to do. But other then the longer walk to the beach the place was great and the pool on site was great

Bumps in the road

I was sent the wrong address of our condominium and along with that wrong code to the door and beach. Seems there was a technical error and things started out very frustrating. After a couple emails to Panhandle vacations, we got things straightened out. Even got the broom and extra linens we needed.

I’d give it a 4 1/2

Comfy furniture, great beds, nice decor. Good appliances. Very quiet development. Easy access to everything from Back Beach Road. Easy walk to the beach through a private gate - less than 10 minutes. We were two - it would also work well for a family. Shared bathroom upstairs, so fine if two couples don’t mind sharing. Powder room with shower stall on main floor. Since we were there for a month, a mop and small vacuum cleaner would have been nice. The dust mop didn’t quite cut it. Loved all the beach art - tastefully done.

Short walk to beach

The property was nice and was clean upon our arrival. It's a very short walk to beautiful beaches and about a 2.5 mile beach walk to Pier Park. The only necessity that was lacking was blankets. There were three beds and two very thin blankets which caused us to have to run the furnace at night. The management company was another story. I never received correspondence before our arrival with check-in information. I sent a message through VRBO and never received a reply. After about 12 hours of waiting, I dug through old emails and found a number for Panhandle Getaways, the management company. It didn't take long for them to send a door code. Upon our arrival, we discovered we needed a condo number. I sent a text and received a number. Once inside there was no information pertaining to wifi, tv cable package, local restaurants, entertainment, etc. Once again, I had to contact them for wifi information. There's a gate to go through to get to Front Beach Street and the gulf. Again, I had to contact them to get the code. The evening before we left we received a text telling us the condo was available for at least another day and we'd save 30%. That would have been wonderful and I'm sure we would have stayed, except by that point we were already packed and ready to go. Overall a great month in the Sunshine State. It would have been better with a management company that we didn't have to contact for so many necessities.
