Great Place - Great Location - Great Value
Just finished a 3 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The old saying applies here, "don't judge a book by its cover". From first appearance at street, you are not overwhelmed. But when entering you find a nice decorated, cute, very clean, and fun place to stay. Great back porch(es) with games, TV, nice furniture and so forth. Kitchen has all the accessories you need, nice size refrigerator/freezer, and a good assortment of spices, pots, and pans. While the overall home is not big, my wife and I stayed with another couple and did not feel crowded. Owner has put in nice touches to make this a great, casual spot to stay in Crystal River. If you are looking for luxury, then this is not the place. But if you want well kept, clean, decently updated, great location (to the river and bars/restaurants in and around Crystal River), then this is the spot.
The final thing I can say here is we traveled with another couple and the wife is a bit of a clean freak. If a place is the least bit dirty, she will leave. She gave this place a thorough looking over and it passed with flying colors. She already wants to plan another weekend getaway with us at this house!
