About this property

Jenny's Retreat at The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls

Situated on a wooded, creek-side corner of The Retreat at Deer Lick Falls, Jenny's Retreat is the perfect getaway for wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Step inside to a comfy, cabin-like feel, distinctive to the mountains of East Tennessee, where you'll find all the amenities of home, including a fully stocked kitchen and cable TV.

Just outside, the expansive deck overlooks a private section of the creek, which runs all the way down to the waterfall that gave this tiny home community its name. The deck also features outdoor dining, a cushioned sofa, a free-standing heater for cooler nights, a patio fire pit, a mini bar facing the creek, and a smart TV for streaming all your favorite movies and shows (must sign into personal accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, etc.).

Most relaxing of all, however, is powering down the modern world and gathering around a fire with the sound of water as it makes its journey down the creek bed and to the falls.

With so many options, you will have all the creative freedom you need to curate an unforgettable visit to the Cumberland Plateau at Jenny's Retreat.

When you really want to unplug and slow down…
It’s a tiny house y’all. There’s “side-steppin’ around the queen size bed to get around it. But it’s comfortable. I’d say 2 adults tops. There’s no way I would be comfortable sleeping in the bunk beds or upstairs. But, for my husband and I it was just right. We enjoyed hiking to the falls.

Great stay ! Great environment ! Very nice.
Really loved the place, it was very quaint and cozy. Had most everything needed for cooking and such. Comfortable and relaxing. Fire pit outside is nice but bring your own wood. There are a few things that should be adjusted. With signs placed all over the cabinet area with state and federal law cleaning things and stating they are not responsible for dirty dishes and that the people staying are required to wash all dishes and put away but they charge you a big cleaning fee where they are already having cleaners come and also they have no dish rack to put the dishes when washed nor a dishwasher. Also there are candles in different areas that were there obviously to be used but one was almost gone and the other just had a wick left in it. Again bad cleaning management. The signs about the federal and state laws for clean dishes are also very excessive, intrusive and just really unnecessary and just make you feel a little like you are not able to just be comfortable like a home and kinda walking on eggshells in a way. Not homey to say the least. Gas fire pit out front of the home and gas fire pit on the porch also we’re out of propane although the BBQ grill did have propane. A small tree had fallen down on the bench near the edge of the regular fire pit but had not been taken care of. Just a little extra TLC would make everything perfect. Also the trail through the woods to the waterfall is very nice just watch for poison ivy off the trails.
