Spectacular View! /Wifi Minutes to downtown / Secluded / hot tub

Cuddle Shack. . . Ideal cabin for your Gatlinburg honeymoon in Tn or just a romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway that you will want to return to time and time again.

Our cabins mountain style includes a living area with cathedral ceilings, exposed beams and is practically surrounded with floor to ceiling windows that enjoy spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park including long range views and city lights at night. You can also see the tram from Ober Gatlinburg as it passes below our cabins mountain location. Enjoy comfortable and stylish cabin decor, a wood burning fireplace (in season), pool table and a hot tub on the deck. As our guest, you also have access to the club house with swimming pools and tennis courts (in season). The pool is typically open from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend.


The South Baden Club House is the nearest one to Cuddle Shack (about 1 mile). You will pass it as you drive in on South Baden Dr.

The oversized master suite is perfect for your Gatlinburg honeymoon or romantic Gatlinburg mountain getaway boasting over 600 sq. ft of luxurious comfort, style and amenities. Enjoy a relaxing, romantic bath in the private heart shaped whirlpool with views of the Smokies and a private balcony and then. . . . fall asleep watching the twinkling of the night lights, stars and the moon.

Our cabins beautiful mountain setting is so private and yet minutes to Gatlinburg downtown shopping and many fine restaurants. The property boarders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you can even walk down to Cove Mountain Trail and enjoy a hike. We parked at the trail head of Laurel Falls once and hiked in to our Cabin, or you can head on down the trail and it comes out at the Sugarlands Visitor Center.

Black Bear, White Tail Deer, Wild Turkey and Raccoon frequently visit our cabin.

Cuddle Shack is located in Chalet Village, just minutes to Gatlinburg downtown dining or shopping, the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Lodge or the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. . About 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. About 1 hour to McGee Tyson Airport in Knoxville.

WEATHER / There are no refunds for inclement weather. This home is located in the mountains on a paved easement road. The driveway declines down to the cabin. It is recommended that you come prepared for snow during the winter months with 4 wheel drive and/or snow chains. Typically November - April.

We really enjoyed our time spent in the cuddle shack. Great views, especially at night, and very quiet and relaxing. We didn't even feel the need to go into town and do the basic tourists stuff, the cabin was exactly what we needed. I highly recommend and I definitely want to stay here again

The cabin was wonderful! But we encountered a momma bear and 3 cubs. The momma bear did slight damage to our jeep, and no, we had no food or drinks in the jeep. We were concerned the she would come back while were asleep so we ended up leaving after 1 night and got a room in town. The drive up to the cabin also gave me a panic attack!

The cabin was fabulous! The outdoor hot tub was great! Nice and warm, very relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. The inside jacuzzi was fun and had a great view out the door. Nice kitchen setup of dinnerware, utensils, pots and pans…. You absolutely can’t beat the views!! The room was great. Big and roomy. Nice carpet. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The half bath upstairs was nice to have!! Enjoyed the pool table a lot. Overall a really great place to stay. The ride up is all paved but hilly and twisty. But being that far up gave you fantastic views. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was beautiful. This was a great escape from the “real” world and we loved the tucked away slice that was shared with us. Just the right amount of secluded and peaceful- while being close to so many things to do, if wanted!

Loved the location above Gatlinburg. Wish there was a clear view over the mountains, but was blocked by a few tall trees. Hot tub on the deck was lovely. Cabin was clean and well appointed. The hosts responded immediately when we had questions.
