Spacious, clean, and comfortable vacation home located off of 17 business, 15 min. south of Myrtle Beach airport in Surfside Beach. This condo is set back in a quiet, family area and features a free shuttle to beautiful Surfside beach. Tupelo Bay is a great beach location without all the high rise hotels so you don't have all the crowds or the shade on the beach in the afternoon. Located minutes away from Murrells Inlet and all the great restaurants, shopping and nightlife. Just a short drive from favorites like Marketplace Commons and Boardwalk on the Beach. You can have peace and quiet when you want it and all the night life. For the golfer, Tupelo Bay features an 18 hole Executive course, a lighted 9 hole par 3 course, 36 holes of miniature golf, and Myrtle's best driving range! There are even configurations for Frisbee golf and the new favorite "foot golf." We are also located nearby all the great courses in the region. If you want to sample some of the top 100 public courses, this is the spot to be. We are just a short drive from Pawleys Island, Georgetown, and Charleston. Perfect for traveling with our older parents that couldn't do stairs. Perfect for older or physically challenged visitors with great high toilets, a walk in shower with seat, and a convenient elevator large enough to accommodate wheel chairs. Something for everyone regardless of your vacation taste!

Wonderful vacation

My family and I really enjoyed staying here. The condo was just as described and was very comfortable. We cooked almost every day and the kitchen had everything we needed. While you can’t walk to the beach, it’s only a 3-4 minute drive and we never had problems finding a place to park. The kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool on a rainy day and also the mini golf. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone wanting a quiet neighborhood near the beach to vacation.

World Series

We stayed at property for baseball tournament!! Location was great close to beaches and stores. Field was about 9 miles away 23 min drive. Property close to everything, but tucked away in great location off main hwy. Very roomy will book again if ever back in Myrtle Beach

Surfside Rental

The family especially the kids loved the amenities of the pool and gym area. Was some confusion at first with the welcome packet after talking with the owner (who was very responsive) cleared up couple things.We usually stay closer to the beach and a stand alone condo. This was a new experience being this far out, even being 5 mins drive and having neighbors watch you very closely was very different. The shuttle service was great the driver was very informative.With that your at the beach and there are many ways to make you happy so we did and we had an awesome time.

Wonderful Family Vacation

The condo was very nice and had everything we needed. My husband has copd and with the elevator there he didn't need to use the steps at all. The walk in shower was also very helpful. We would highly recommend this place!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo is big and roomy. John was very quick to respond to my questions. Check in and out was very easy. We look forward to staying again at John’s lovely home if we are in the Myrtle Beach area

Great for large family

John had a stocked kitchen with anything you could ever need. I was able to prepare a wonderful Thanksgiving meal for a large family with no problem. We were even able to have homemade pizzas one night. The place was much larger in person and accommodated 6 adults comfortably, and a family of 9 for meals.

Great condo!

This is a perfect location! Had some family in the newer section but they commented on how great the view was at this condo. Kitchen was very stocked with dishes, cooking utensils and pots/pans, etc. The kids enjoyed the pools. We love that it is tucked away but very close to the beach and main highway. Would totally recommend!

Family Vacation

Everything was amazing! My family loved the condo it was clean and very comfortable. My toddler loved all the space he had to play. On our first night the toilet stopped working, John personally came to check it out and had his plumber there quickly to have it up and running. We will definitely be back!

A Great Week In SC.

We had a wonderful family vacation in South Carolina and this condo was part of all the fun! The Condo is beautiful and very homey. I enjoyed just sitting in the sitting room overlooking the pool and the pond while reading a book. The condo was clean and decorated very nice with all the amenities. My kids loved the pool area and of course all the golf! The whole area was very pleasant! We would rent this condo and again!

Great Vacation Experience

We were very pleased with our accomodations at Tupelo Bay. Our host John was very responsive to every inquiry and request we had. The unit was perfect for our six vacationers and dog. Elevator was available to second floor. Had everything we needed in kitchen and TVs for every room. We used the outdoor pool and golf course. And the beach shuttle was great as we didn't have to hunt for parking down at the beach. Highly reccommend this unit for a small family.

Amazing place and host

This was a great place and complimented our great vacation. Very relaxing and has everything you need. John is super accommodating and replies quickly to any inquiries. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful. The gym was a huge plus for my family as well. I have to make sure I comment on the beds, the beds are comfortable which is great bc I have booked some nice properties that have beds that’s give me back aches. Pillows could be replaced but you can also bring your own from home as well if you enjoy more than one. Other than that this property is definitely an A+

Family vacation

This condo is exceptional, great indoor and outdoor pool well-kept nice place to take walks close to the golf course putting range, putt putt and ice cream parlor within walking distance this property is also close to public access to the beach. The condo has everything that you need. It’s like being at home. It is pet friendly but you rarely hear or would even know someone had a dog if it wasn’t for seeing them out walking. The owner of this condo really cares about making your vacation a success!! This was our second year in the same condo and I would definitely recommend.

Awesome stay at the Bay

Tupelo Bay was an amazing time for our family. It was my family and my brother’s. It was such a quiet, clean and safe community. Security made regular rounds and everyone was super friendly. The condo was located in a great spot only a couple minutes from restaurants, grocery stores, and the beach. They had a convenient shuttle to the beach, but we also found that taking our own car worked well too as there was plenty of public parking at the beach. A plus vacation and our host, John, was awesome. He always got back to us right away with answers to questions or any info we may need. We’d do it again tomorrow if we could.

Great place for a family to stay in a quiet neighborhood

This was our first time using VRBO and staying in a condo. We have a large family with a son recently married so we we’re hoping for a place with lots of living space and this condo really fit us perfectly. Very easy to find and centrally located close to 17 with easy access to all area attractions. The pool facility was really nice and we had it to ourselves most evenings. Almost made it seem like our own private pool. The condo was nicely decorated with a good supply of small appliances, utensils, pots and pans, etc.. The refrigerator is huge which is great at the beach for stocking it with beverages, foods, snacks, and ice. Our host communicated well and made it easy.

Great location, close to everything without the noise

Great property. Perfect for traveling with our older parents that couldn't do stairs. Great high toilets and a walk in shower with seat, if you've travelled with older/sick members you know the importance of this! John was great to deal with and answered all questions promptly. The condo is clean and was great to take the kids back and not be worried about them catching any illness from playing on the ground or playing in the bathtub. Rooms are a great size and the view of the pond was great for watching the ducks, geese and turtles. The outdoor and indoor pool is a must for afternoon swims. We didn't use the beach shuttle while there but it ran pretty regular and would be nice to use if you decided to do that. We recommend going to garden city beach. They have a great pier and good parking if you get there before 11. Close to myrtle without the crowds and close to Murrells Inlet. We ate at the Inlet Crab House and fell in love with conch fritters! We will stay again!

I would NOT stay here again!

The location is good although you have to cross a main highway to get to the beach so you'll need to drive or take the free shuttle. The layout of the units are good. We have stayed in other units at Tupelo in the past and had such a good experience we decided to return, this time using John's unit. John, the owner, sent the keys by mail but didn't provide us with the unit number for us to check into. He was unresponsive for hours by text, phone and email as we tried to get into the unit. We had to do vacuuming when we arrived at John's unit as there was an enormous amount of dust built up. There were holes and stains in the comforter in our bedroom. There were stains on the chairs in the sun room. There was also a ton of mold on the shower curtains. I contacted the owner and sent him pictures of some of the issues. He was unapologetic. There was a water outage one of the days while we were getting ready so no one could shower before we headed out. Linens for the beds are not even provided. I was going to overlook some of the issues but to put things over the top John is now trying to withhold some of our security deposit claiming that we left the unit too dirty. Overall I would stay at Tupelo again but definitely not at this unit or any other owned by John.
