We welcome you to Downtown Inn where Asheville is out your front door and the mountains are just minutes away. We are within a short walking distance of many of Asheville's hottest attractions. The Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village are just a 10 minute drive and access to the Blue Ridge Parkway is just a 15 to 20 minute drive. Whether you are looking for downtown excitement or the peace of the mountains, Downtown Inn is where you want to be in the heart of Asheville!

Convenient location to downtown .. rooms are dated but clean and simple .. only problem was the weekend traffic noise which isn’t the faultOf the hotel of course. I’d stay again but on other side of building .. it’s affordable way to see downtown Ashland area

Great location

I’ve stayed here twice now and it’s always a simple process. They have onsite parking, and then overflow parking if they run out of that. The location is central to everything downtown, and everything is always nice and clean in the building.

Old hotel, good location

We knew going into our stay that the hotel was old. But it was definitely older and more run down than I expected. The bedding and towels appeared clean thankfully, as well as the toilet and shower, but the room definitely needs to updating and upkeep (think dirty walls, cracked shower tiles, old gross carpet). The young lady that checked us in was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. But the older lady that was at the front desk the second day was very pleasant at least. The location was great to be able to walk to all the downtown shops. But there are a LOT of homeless people who hang out in the streets surrounding the hotel and they are not shy about asking for money when you walk by. Just things to keep in mind if you stay here.

Dated 5 story hotel, 3 blocks from the center of Asheville. We found it clean and in decent shape. Perfect for a week exploring The community and surrounding area. Pet friendly. Hope to stay here again on future visits.
