Cozy Unit!!

We loved this little unit. It was a great location for our trip and the pool and pickle ball courts were a plus.

Shorewalk condo plus

We stayed at this Shorewalk condo for just under a month mid-April to mid-May 2023. In general, this is an above average Shorewalk condo unit. It was clean and for the most part well kept. Shorewalk is a great Bradenton location with two pools, two Jacuzzies tennis courts a club house etc. The unit has Wi-Fi and Netflix which was a plus. The only negative we experienced was that the dryer broke during our stay. While it was eventually fixed, it was 12 days before that happened.

Poor Maintenance

The property was in a good location and was clean. However, on the surface it looked good, but things kept breaking. When we arrived the shower rod was coming out of the wall, the vanity door hinge was hanging, there were no washcloths and missing lightbulbs. These were reported and addressed. More things fell apart, so we called again: door hinge coming off, interior doors would not close (no privacy), toilets would not flush without several tries (10 + tries to get stool to go down) and the faucet in one bathroom came detached from the vanity. As instructed, we called Vacasa. The maintenance supervisor accused us of liking to complain (not true). The promised repair person NEVER showed up. We spent 3 days of our vacation waiting for the repairs so we were very displeased and disappointed.

Broken air conditioner so we left a day earlier

There was no air conditioning it was broken . In addition to the air conditioner the smoke detector continuously beeped, the master bedroom toilet did not flush Between the house being hot and the smoke detector beeping all throughout the night we got very little sleep Then to top it off the hydro was going to be shut off on Feb 1st for most of the day So we packed up a day earlier and left. I told Wendy in the office she told me to open doors let air flow through . All the issues were reported to Vacasa but nothing was fixed !

Non-vacation

The condo was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the carport was very nice to park in. The only thing that would have been better was after that 17 hour drive there would have been TP in one of the bathrooms. The location was close to stores and restaurants and if we were going to the beach they weren’t very far
