Location

My family had a great stay. We throughly enjoyed our time at the pool and spent most of our time in the lake. My son had a blast fishing. The house was exactly how it was described. My family will definitely come back when in the area.

Quiet retreat

The home was well stocked and comfortable. We loved the style of the house and that TVs were already set up with streaming. Enjoyed the lake, walks in neighborhood and it was very quiet.Property manager was responsive and helpful. I know this is a new listing so my only issue was with attention to details with cleaning. The owner was apologetic and as it was just bathroom we took care of it ourselves.When we arrived the upstairs bathroom was not clean, and we found garbage in all the trash cans (some was obviously from someone cleaning but other was clearly garbage from previous guest) it was also odd to find open food left in fridge, and prescription medicine in the cabinet. Not sure if someone regularly lives here and they rent it out on weekends but it was just odd. It definitely left us wondering about the level of cleaning done prior to our arrival.( If you check into a hotel and there's trash you assume the room wasn't cleaned properly, and while this is a vacation rental you still expect a fully cleaned property.) I'd recommend to host to check to make sure, everything was cleaned properly, the trash is empty and bathroom and fridge are cleaned between guests.

Extended Stay

We had three people stay here for 5 days. There were lots of nice details they put into the place! Jimmy was responsive and the house was easy to get into. It was lovely to have access to streaming platforms on the TV’s as well. The house was clean enough but, would suggest putting in the description that their belongings are in the home or that they live/stay there. There were undergarments in the drawers and some of the bedding was stained. Also was evident a dog had been in there or lives there which could cause issues for those with allergies. Overall the place was not bad and perfect for the 3 of us! Being able to use the pool was nice as well!
