This mid-century modern home has been expertly styled and furnished in order to give guests a miraculous experience! Sprawl out on the giant modular leather sofa, whip up a gourmet meal in our chef`s dream kitchen, or simply pick one of the gorgeous bedrooms and climb on in for the sleep of your life! With room for the whole family and near all the hustle and bustle of Gainesville, guests will love the high-end touches and comfort that this home has to offer. Treat yourself to luxury this trip!



This large home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. This property has a fully equipped kitchen, and an open living space with a 65` smart TV. A gorgeous, fully-fenced backyard has lounge chairs, outdoor dining, a fire pit & BBQ for your entire group (including your doggies) to enjoy the warm Florida weather.



Guests have access to all spaces (2,100 SF & 2-car garage).



We have space for four cars in the driveway and garage. There is a Level 2 ChargePoint EV Charger in the garage.



There are 2 Ring security cameras on the outside of our home. One is located by the front door, and one is located by the garage door.

Upscale home in great location

Loved loved loved the place. Perfect for our family and friend group in town to celebrate my son's graduation from veterinary art school. Would definitely stay there again if in Gainesville for a special event.

Another Great stay at the Sunshine House

This was our 3rd time staying at the Sunshine House with our family. We spent Easter weekend there & had a wonderful time! The house was spotless, beds were comfortable, and within close proximity to UF & several dining options. We look forward to staying again!

Graduation Weekend

Stayed the weekend to attend my brother’s UF graduation and we loved the house. The location is great, super close to campus and great neighborhood. The house is spacious and very well stocked with anything you’ll need and the kitchen has all the essentials. This has been one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed at. Very nicely decorated and beautiful view from the ceiling to floor window in the living/ dining room area. The host was very nice and attentive, communication was super fast. If we’re back in town this will be our go to rental for sure.

Went up for a UF game day, house was in a great location. Inside was extremely nice and clean, even better than expected. Stephen was very responsive for anything that we needed. Would definitely stay there again, everyone had a great time.

Beautiful home with a fantastic kitchen with a large island. Very comfortable and within minutes to UF campus. Host Stephen is very easy to communicate with and is a great host. This is our go to house when in Gainesville.

Return to the Sunshine House

This was our 2nd time visiting the Sunshine House, this time for our son’s 21st birthday. It did not disappoint! The house was exceptionally clean, had all kitchen amenities to make meals, & close proximity to UF & local restaurants. Our small dog loved exploring while we relaxed on the back patio. It is surrounded by a lovely, quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walking. We look forward to returning!

This house is beautiful with a great location! We enjoyed the openness of the house. It was the perfect size with plenty of room. It was also very clean and neatly labeled. The property manager, Stephen, was very responsive and nice to work with. We would love to stay again!

A lovely neighborhood with birds chirping and a couple of blocks across the street a massive park. Design of outside and inside the house are top notch. Ownership has thought of every detail as the house was so fresh and so clean

Graduation weekend

The Sunshine House is fabulous! The house was spotless and well thought out with tons of space for our group. Beds are comfortable and the lighting in the bathrooms is great! (You rarely find King beds or good lighting!!) also a great location close enough to to campus but just off the main streets. Highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed our stay

Nicely updated house. Stayed with the family and 2 small dogs. Neighborhood was beautiful, well kept and the house was really close to UF. Hosts were very responsive and instructions were perfect. Loved the little signs of where everything was in the kitchen and on the light switches. Made my life a lot easier! Definatley will stay again.

Sunshine House

We had a lovely time at the Sunshine House for Easter weekend & the UF Florida Relays. My husband and our 3 adult children stayed with us in the spacious home, which was in close proximity to UF, Publix, shopping & restaurants. We especially enjoyed the fenced in backyard garden area. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet & shaded, which was perfect for taking walks. Stephen, the owner, was responsive & a wonderful host. We plan to be back!

I am honored to host guests and travelers at my house in Gainesville! I was a UF student many years ago, and I still love this town.

In my spare time, I volunteer with my 14-year-old therapy dog, Nike. I also try to get involved in environmental issues, and I am a board member of a beach cleaning non-profit called Volunteer Cleanup.

I have traveled all over the world, and I have lived in Brazil and Thailand. I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures, languages, etc
