It was the perfect place for me to just rest and enjoy alone for a few days. The windows in the living room area are wonderful and I sat for hours just looking out at nature. It's so close to the water it feels like you're looking out the windows of a houseboat. Rested, enjoyed, kayaked, read, went for walks on the surrounding dirt roads under a canopy of green leaves.....it was great.

Cozy and Quiet
We enjoyed our stay in this cozy and quiet cabin. Was a nice break from living out of suitcases from town to town on our family vacation; it was a place to call home-base for 5 nights. Descriptions of everything was accurate, everything worked well, kitchen had absolutely every necessity, gated and key locks which functioned well and easily, comfortable beds and couch. Felt clean inside, lots of towels for showers and swimming. Water got nice and warm for dishes and showering. The lake its on is quiet and warm and nice to swim in. Would be nice if there were a couple added amenities like kayaks and fishing equipment for guests. We enjoyed our stay, thank you much!

Not up to standards
This was a last choice due to pictures. Turned out that the pictures actually did this place justice. It was clean and beds comfy. That was it. Stairs were dangerous at best. There were holes on the stairs and the railing was wobbly. That was getting into the cabin, getting to the lake was worse. The toilet did not flush great, turns out there was an alarm that would have gone off of it was plugged in. The septic had to be pumped. We had a good time with our puppies swimming and relaxing. Would not stay here again though. Too expensive for this place.
