I am a huge fan of Victorian houses and this house was great. Parking was easy, location highly accessible. Host was prompt and accessible. 1 room upstairs was pretty cool but adequate blankets and since my daughter likes to sleep with cooler temps, it was perfect. Quiet neighborhood. I'd definitely stay here again.
We loved staying at this property - it was able to accommodate our large group perfectly, and was one of the only properties we could find with a hot tub! It’s in a quiet corner of the neighborhood, but still very close to the action of Uptown. We would definitely stay here again!
It was an amazing trip lots of room and Beds for everyone to stay and such an easy process from start to finish the whole way throughout the trip! What an amazing experience !
Great location plenty to do, house worked great for a larger group is close to Downtown and could get to the suburbs quick and easy.
Neighborhood has plenty of great restaurants. Would highly recommend!
I had a blast staying at this house and Sean was super communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The food in the area is amazing and super diverse. It was a great place for my friends and I to be bachelors for a long weekend. I would totally stay there again.
The Victorian was BEAUTIFUL!! Great location, within walking distance to so many restaurants and nightlife. Sean (Host) was AMAZING, he was always quick to respond to my questions, he went over and beyond than expected!! Great property and Host!!

Disliked: Location
A bit different than what I expected
When we first arrived at the house, I was taken a back at the neighborhood in which it was located. The house seemed to be in a very rundown neighborhood. I was honestly worried that we were in a sketchy part of the city. The longer I stayed, the more comfortable I began to feel though. Someone who is not accustomed to city living might feel uncomfortable staying at this location. One thing I really did like about the house was its charm. It was built in 1900 and has a lot of really neat character.
We had a wonderful time and I would stay here again. Sean was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was going well.

About the host
Hosted by Sean Kettering
Hi we're Sean and Sarah. Sean is born and raised, lifelong resident of Minneapolis. Sarah is from Iowa but was destined to move here after college so Sean could marry a girl way out of his league. Our two boys (6 and 9) attend school just down the block from the house. If you see two sandy haired boys doing some sort of dorky, role play on the playground, that's probably them. We've been hosting folks for just over a year now and absolutely love it. We hope to make your stay an absolute delight.
Why they chose this property
This house offers great location and value. We love this house and brought it back from a shocking state of disrepair a few years back. We love to share it with people and continue to make improvements to it to accommodate our guests. You won't find dull knives, flimsy pans or tacky furniture in our place. We love our guests to gather, cook and celebrate. Outside the house you're close to the best Minneapolis has to offer. Steps from dozens of restaurants, bars, shops, spas, music clubs and museums. Outside the house you'll find our city's greatest feature is our park system with more green space per capita than any other U.S. city. Walk, jog or rent a bike down the lakes and go for a swim. Head downtown for the world famous Guthrie Theatre and have dinner on the absolutely gorgeous riverfront. If you're a fellow sports fan the house is an ideal place to rally with friends before heading out to the stadium or park.
What makes this property unique
This house has stained glass and wood work that you cannot find in any new home. The split staircase design is a delight for kids and adults alike. the backyard hot tub is a welcome oasis for all groups.
