Lake cabin gem on Little Green lake in Markesan, south of the Town of Green Lake comes complete with room for 8 people, 2 fire places, outdoor fire pit, volleyball area, Cable TV, Wi-Fi, DVD's/games, and roughly 100 feet of lake frontage.

Whether you're looking for a fun summer place to unwind and get out on the water, or a cozy winter hideaway to escape with a warm fire, the Little Green Lake House may just be for you. Perhaps you're an expert angler or an aspiring fisherman and you want to try your hand (and rod/reel) at a record muskie or nice sized pan fish. Or, maybe you're looking for a place to simply recharge with some good music, an outdoor fire pit, some s'mores, and a friendly game of volleyball. This home has everything you need to vacation without limits.

Little Green lake is 466 acres in size and is a multi-purpose sporting lake with enough space and depth (average depth of 10 feet and max depth of 28 feet) for skiing, tubing, or personal watercraft, and some of the best fishing in the State of Wisconsin on this Class A lake.

The lake is the southernmost Class A muskie lake in Wisconsin and provides for some of the best muskie, walleye, bass, and panfish fishing in the entire state. Wind tends not to be a big factor on this lake like on other comparable area lakes.

Tournaments are quite common on Little Green and it offers some of the best ice fishing around. Coupled with this quaint but spacious lake house, it is a fisherman's or boater's dream all year long...

House Rules

Guests are expected to treat this home as if it were their own, with proper care and respect. A 'House Rules' document is posted for all to read, and an agreement is signed prior to rental acknowledging the important items.

Pet Policy: 1 dog is allowed with an additional pet cleaning fee.

Smoking policy: Smoking is not allowed in the house at any time. There is a cigarette receptacle available outdoors which should be used for all cigarette waste.

We've stayed at the house on little green lake several times and it never fails us. The house has everything you could need stocked and ready to go. Great communication with the owner and they're always very accommodating for our group/ trip.

Golf weekend

My three friends and I stayed over a weekend while golfing at Lawsonia. The house was lovely and a wonderful weekend. The disc golf course in Green Lake was great as well!

Quiet and relaxing

Overall we had a really nice time and were happy with the rental property. The outside could use a little cleaning up and was a little disappointed there was no pier or swing to use. I don't know if it was because of the time of year and maybe just haven't gotten around to doing some things yet. Very quiet and private location which was nice The inside was very nice and as expected.

This is a lovely home. Think “my lake house.” Very cozy. Everything was well apportioned. The view and yard are spectacular. It was so quiet and the stars were amazing. Also, it was very close to so many nice hikes around big Green Lake, the Amish bakeries, and colors galore. Brian the owner was also so kind and easy to work with for the whole process. It was just me and my husband, though we would easily have brought our teens.

Attending Ryder Cup

Although it was a ways away from the Ryder, it was a nice location we wished we had more time to enjoy. We didn't want for anything in the house. Fully stocked kitchen for pots, pans, utensils, etc. Quite a selection of games and videos and bug spray and suntan lotion for enjoying the back yard going down to the lake. The only draw back was getting to a very nice lower level by way of a very narrow spiral staircase.

Wish We Were Still There!

I hesitate to give this home the rave review it deserves because then everyone will want to stay here! The house layout was perfect, large open concept with plenty of bedrooms. The downstairs provided a separate living/play area and super quiet bedroom PLUS a beautiful newly renovated bathroom. The yard was awesome! Lots of trees to keep it shady and cool. The deck is super spacious with lots of seating and a newer grill. We caught lots of pan fish from the dock in the evenings. I could go on, but words cannot truly express how wonderful it was to spend the week there. Thanks Brian for your hospitality and great communication!

The kitchen, living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry area, deck, lakeside leisure area, dock, outdoor fire pit, gentle slope to water. This home is extremely well appointed in every aspect that one could expect from a vacation site. There is no traditional beach but the bottom is sandy and the swimming would be fine. There are several local bars/ restaurants in the area which serve great food. I understand that the fishing is either difficult or extremely hot. We are already planning how we can get back here as soon as possible. Side note: We visited with an elderly mom and others with some ambulatory challenges and this property is very forgiving in that regard. Great owners. Wonderful stay. Thank you

Cozy lakefront house

Perfect Family Getaway

We absolutely loved staying here. The house was stocked and extremely organized. We had 6 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of living space for all of us. The pictures really don't do the space justice-the basement is very big so lots of room to spread out. One thing I would caution for family's with young kids is that the spiral stairs are a bit tricky-it would not deter us from coming back but if that is something that is concerning to you, plan to have the adults sleep downstairs. Brian was extremely responsive-you should definitely plan to visit Lakeview Inn while you're there, great local spot for dinner. The weather was a bit chilly/rainy for doing outdoor things but we took a little drive to Ripon and they've really done a great job with their downtown over the past few years. Lots of cute shops and there's a winery as well. Thanks for a great stay!
