Its the perfect romantic paradise to relax in the hot tub, take a outdoor shower, enjoy family time at pop up dome/tent in the private Hawaii Garden or relax at swing/day bed at gazebo with firepit . You can spend your days hiking in Volcano National Park, exploring lava tubes, and viewing the world famous lava lake. Wake up to the song of native birds, coqui frog and see the Lava in the night just 5 min away.

Whether you are a solo traveler, couple, family or a small group, this is the perfect place for you. Having 2 full bathrooms is such a convenient thing to have especially when you are on a Hawaii vacation and not having to waste time waiting in line to use a bathroom.

There is a gorgeous Master suite that opens to an outside lanai with a relaxing swing, & a garden fountain and a comfortable Queen bed for a goodnight sleep after a day of sun and adventure.

Kitchen has a 4 burner gas stove and full size refrigerator and sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave and basic supplies like coffee, tea, creamer, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Living room has 2 pullout couches ( full and twin) for additional sleeping area. Smart tv and spectrum Wifi are provided.

There is an outdoor ground patio where you can enjoy the cool, morning mountain weather and chilly nights.

My interaction with guests depends on what they prefer. I will be available if you need anything. I understand that some guests would like their time alone and we get it! You will have the house to yourself ( just don’t burn it!) I live in the nearby town Keaau, but I will be available if you need something.

Please note that we are required to collect and remit Occupancy taxes to HI county on short term rentals. If Occupancy tax (Transient tax 10.25% and General excise tax 4.5%) is not included as part of your original bookings, we will request you to pay this tax as a separate request. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tucked away in a small, quiet community 5 minutes from Hawaii Volcano National Park, this modern, rustic house is recently renovated with comfort and luxury in our mind. Ideal starting point for touring the Volcano National Park.

*Enjoy hikes in unique trails at the nearby Volcano National Park and drive to Farmer’s market in town for local food, and fresh produce.

Disclaimer: No access to a beach . You gotta drive but I promise you, no crazy traffic and destination will be worth it.

You will need a rental car to get around.

PLEASE NOTE:

(A) Quiet hours shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., during which time the noise from the STVR shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors.

(B) Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.

(C) Guest vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area.

(D) The STVR shall not be used for commercial purposes.

Stove and water heater is run by propane. We always make sure that your propane is full on your arrival and enough for your stay.
There is a space heater to use it in bedroom or living room for cold nights

Senior and kid friendly ( but not a childproofed) . Children must be supervised. We have a crib available upon request.

*No pets allowed.

We will also provide flashlights for those who like to do night hikes and umbrellas for rainy days.
This side of the island gets a decent amount of rainfall or scattered showers throughout the day that makes this place stay lush and green. Pack a light jacket.

**Dehumidifier is available for use.

***We have switched to Quantum Disinfection Technology for our rain water catchment this February 2020. This uses no chemicals, kills microorganisms better than UV light. Because of this technology, we will be able to provide cleaner water for all the guests.
