schönes Dachstudio, um Limburg und Burgen und Schlösser in der Umgebung zu erkunden
Das Dachstudio ist sehr nah (zu Fuß) an der Burg Runkel (sehenswert!) und an der Lahn (im Sommer lädt diese zum Baden ein), ist sehr sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet, die Gastgeber überaus freundlich und unkompliziert, haben gute Adressen parat zum Essen bzw. zum Besichtigen.
Überhaupt fanden wir Runkel auch als Ausgangspunkt, um Limburg,Wetzlar, Braunfels, Weilburg, Hadamar, Grafenstein zu besichtigen, ideal. Burg- und Schlösserliebhaber kommen hier auf ihre Kosten.
Unbedingt die Sankt-Lubentzius Kirche in Dietkirchen (keine 5km) besuchen mit ihrer über tausend Jahre alten Martinskapelle, dem Kreuzgang, dem schattigen Hof hoch über der Lahn, dem steinernen Taufbecken und der alten Holzdecke, wir haben sie zufällig von Weitem gesehen, wird kaum in Reiseführer erwähnt.
