About this property

Easy walk to the ski slopes and the shop.

Here is a beautiful 3-bedroom house in the picturesque Masthope Community. It's about 1/4 mile down the hill from the pool at Masthope! You’ll notice how right and airy it is in the main living room and dining room. The big windows, and vaulted ceiling with skylights, provide comfortable seating to watch the 65-inch smart TV.

The house has central A/C and central heat, ceiling fans, and wireless internet service. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, cutlery, glasses, a Keurig, coffee maker, teapot, crock pot, blender, toaster, bowls, and more; bring your food to cook in this fully equipped kitchen, or use the microwave to heat your carry out. The dining room seats 6, and two barstools are at the breakfast bar. There is a washer/dryer in the basement.

We've also supplied board games, puzzles for family nights, and books for quiet time. A full bathroom is on each floor; the tubs include hand showers. Additionally, you'll find an oversized whirlpool tub in an adjoining room; it's a great place to relax and unwind! We provide bath towels and hand towels for everyone.

The first-floor bedroom has a Queen-sized bed, a smart TV, a dresser, nightstands, and a closet. There are USB ports on the lamps at each bedside to charge your electronics overnight and a clock on one nightstand. Second floor Bedroom 1 has twin beds, a smart TV, and a dresser and closet space. The nightstand by the wall has a lamp and clock; an outlet with USB ports is available next to the dresser. Second-floor Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed, a smart TV, a dresser, a closet, USB ports, and a private entrance to the upstairs bathroom. The upstairs loft has a TV, games, puzzles, books, and a pull-out sleeper sofa.

We provide all linens and towels, dish soap, and a starter pack of laundry and dishwasher pods, plus two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, an extra roll of paper towels under the sink, and a couple of extra trash bags. You'll find a few pods for the Keurig, coffee filters, and essential kitchen items, including oil, salt, pepper, and a few common spices.

Please note that a full flight of stairs is required to enter the house; the driveway has parking for four cars. The front porch and back deck have chairs to enjoy the sight of the deer that frequently come through. The back deck has a gas grill, a large dining table for your enjoyment, and plenty of chairs for lounging and visiting.

There is a comfortable, shaded backyard, and a short walk up the hill is a playground for the kids, a community swimming pool with water slides, a tiki bar, and a kiddie pool area. You can also enjoy tennis, basketball, handball, bocce ball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, mini-golf, etc. Also, just up the hill is the Masthope Market for sandwiches (breakfast or lunch) at the deli, milk, bread, etc.

All guests must be registered with the Community Office, so the names and ages of all guests will have to be provided. The cleaning/community fee covers the cost of cleaning and the association charges to register guests and for issuing a compactor pass; the forms will be sent to you after booking. The fee is paid directly to the community.

Great Weekend away

We spent the weekend here & the pictures are an accurate depiction of the place. We enjoyed the outdoor space and being able to get away from the city for a weekend of R&R. Dog friendly, clean, comfortable, & relaxing so exactly what we needed

Great neighborhood!

We enjoyed this very well equipped and maintained property. It was in an amenity-filled neighborhood and an area of beautiful PA with many recreational options. Loved seeing all of the wildlife too. Winery visit is a must!

Great place to stay in the mountains

Pat was exceptional to work with and answer any questions. It was enough space for 4 adults and 2 children. It was 6 houses from the pool, tiki bar, restaurant and store. The amenities were great and we will return.

Great place, great time

So enjoyed our stay! We loved it. House was perfect. Everything so clean and my two granddaughters enjoyed their bedroom. The slopes are within walking distance and the restaurant, the Summit, had delicious food. We were able to attend the anew Year’s Eve party there and everyone enjoyed. Also enjoyed the Woodloch Market for its convenience and great subs. What a great house and time we had.

A week with the grandkids

The property was exactly what the owner described. The house was perfect and the owner really went overboard with small things like extra dishwasher pods. Comfortable furniture and plenty of tvs . Our grandkids loved the amenities, the playground was great and the pools were awesome. The fire pit in the backyard was perfect and we roasted s’mores almost every night. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Unplugged

This was exactly what we needed. Quiet well kept house with all the amenities. We throughly enjoyed our week and Patrick was so wonderful as our host. He went above and beyond and made sure we were set up and happy. I would highly recommend for a vacation. Pool, restaurant right up hill were just great. Our dog loved hanging out on deck and long walks with loads of wildlife to see. Thanks again The Evans family

What makes this property unique

This house is a short walk from many of the most desired amenities, including the pools, playground, ski lift, restaurant, Tiki Bar, mini golf and so much more! No need to load everyone up in cars and hunt for parking. It's about a 7 minute drive to the private beach on Westcolang Lake, and about 4 minutes to the horseback riding stables. This is about as great a location as you can get!
