Great Outdoor Area

Overall a good stay. The outdoor area for the kids was great - large pool area, lazy river (although given what you pay for the week, one shouldn't have to pay extra for it), mini golf, rock climbing etc. Restaurant by the pool was good and convenient. The local pool by our unit, didn't have enough chairs so we ended up going to the large pool. Our unit needs updating but the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We stayed an extra night in a different unit which had been upgraded and it was very nice. Location was good as there was a Publix and Target right outside the property. Disney was 15 minutes away.

Simply Sensational!

After a ridiculous 30 hour autotrain ride, we didn't get to check in until 10pm. We were greeted with wonderful staff. The checkin process was seemless. The accommodations were beautiful. It was so clean. The beds were so comfy. We were there the week between Christmas and New Years for trips to Epcot and MK, which were a short 10 min ride away. We did manage to squeeze in a visit to one of the many pools for a few hours. So much fun! Thanks for a fantastic stay! We'd love to come back someday!

Ken & I have been enjoying Orange Lake Resort for over 25 years. Our family was small at the time we first began going to Florida from our Michigan home. After a couple of years we realized that for affordable and spacious accommodations we needed to look beyond a hotel.
As our family grew to 7 children, plus foster children who joined us, we realized we needed to find something that we could enjoy while remaining within a budget. That meant not sitting at a hotel pool and making meals from a frying pan for our then, 1 week of Spring Break vacation time.
That is when we found Orange Lake Resort. It has grown to what you see on the pictures and is a great location. As you will read frequently on our site, "you never really need to leave the community": Orange Lake has it all!
