The farm house was absolutely amazing! It was very peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed watching the deer and turkey come through everyday. It was a little piece of heaven
My family and i spent 6 days at Rick and Jody's amazing home while exploring the black hills. This house had everything we needed and then some and was very well decorated to make a person feel at home. Walking in and haveing a very nice personal note and fresh banana bread was the iceing on the cake for us. We would recommend this house a million times over and when we come back to South Dakota there is no question where we are staying.
Nicest place we have ever stayed at in the Black Hills region.
Beautiful house and property grounds. Wild deer and turkeys everywhere. Owners were awesome. Had homemade banana bread waiting for us. Beautiful fireplace. Comfortable beds. Close to trails. Will be back soon. Perfect.
My wife and I took a short trip for our anniversary to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We stayed at the simply farmhouse in Nemo. We couldn’t have had a better host who was concerned for us throughout our stay. The home sits on a beautiful piece of land and gave us access to both the north and the south Black Hills. There is plenty of parking as I towed a trailer with our Miata inside. I can’t say enough good about where we stayed, the location, the owners of the property, and the property itself. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing place, this is it. Everything was as it was described on their listing. Thank you, Jody and Rick for such a wonderful time and I hope you get to Alaska before long to do some fishing!!
What an amazing property! Loved the peace and quiet of the area. Loved having the wildlife right outside the door!!
The property was exactly as described. We will definitely stay here again!
This was out first visit to the Black Hills, and we loved it. Rick and Jody were so nice and welcoming. We absolutely loved the farmhouse and its views!
This farmhouse is so beautiful and has all you need for a great stay. It was centrally located for all the things we wanted to visit. The wildlife is amazing and the Milky Way is just above the house. Come and see for yourself!
I hesitated before choosing this property, but I’m so very glad I booked here. The house is cozy and has everything you might need. The owners are kind, thoughtful, and helpful. The location is perfect and the setting is so beautiful.
This was our second stay at the Farmhouse and it won't be our last. The hosts Jody and Rick are the best and talking with them was really nice. The house has everything you need for your getaway. The location for us was ideal because we bring our UTV and the trails are very close, so we didn't have to trailer it to a trails. The zucchini bread is always a highlight....yum.
This wonderful farmhouse was perfect for a relaxing, quiet vacation. Easy access to all attractions in the Black Hills, while off the beaten path enough to avoid the crowds. The home included all the needed amenities, great views of the surrounding mountains, clean, and modern within the historic home setting. Recommend highly!
One of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed at! Extremely clean and very well taken care of! Made our stay very enjoyable! We were welcomed with a fresh loaf of banana bread and alot of hospitality! Highly recommend!
This house is perfect! A well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and plenty of seating. We were welcomed with fresh zuchini bread made by Jody! I cant say enough great things about our stay!
The property was very clean and organized. The hosts do a great job making their guests feel welcomed and informed about the house and the area. They even welcomed us with homemade sweet bread and a kind note. We would definitely stay here again!
The Farmhouse is perfectly positioned for a Black Hills vacation. It was easy to travel in all directions to Devils Tower, Badlands, Wind Cave, Custer, Mount Rushmore. Close enough to Deadwood or Hill City for restaurants. Yet, also very quiet with lots of wildlife to see and hear (turkeys, elk, deer). The house itself is really charming and comfortable for a relaxed stay. Loved the porch and the views. The host is friendly and welcoming. Loved the zucchini bread she made for us.
We loved this house! Great location! Very clean. Had yummy zucchini bread waiting for us when we got there! It was a gem of a house in a beautiful location! Loved everything about it!
Great stay in Nemo! Beautiful location with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The house was just as described, perfect for our visit to the Hills! Jody was a great host and made herself available for anything we needed. ☺️
Wonderful place to spend our Black Hills vacation. The birds and turkeys were fun to watch and the quiet location was ideal. The convenience of the UTV/ATV trail system was a plus for us. We logged over 500 miles and never had to trailer once. Jody and Rick were awesome to deal with and the bread was very yummy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
