READ THE DESCRIPTION! Cozy Log Cabin - Rustic getaway near Bethel Center
Quaint 100+ year old cabin close to the heart of Bethel Center that has been in my family for 4 generations. This is a rustic, simple log cabin with heat and electricity, but NO RUNNING WATER AND AN OUTHOUSE. You must be an outdoorsy, laid back type of person to be ok with our lovely cabin.
Come and enjoy the cozy, artsy, rustic cabin, 3 mins to the Bethel town center and 14 min (8.4 miles) from Sunday River Ski Resort, 12 minutes (8.2 miles) from Mt. Abrams and half hour (20 miles) from Grafton Notch.
This is one of the oldest, original log cabins in the area. It is incredibly unique, but is certainly not for everyone. It is a one room cabin with a separate outhouse. There is one king bed and a trundle twin.
Even though this space is cleaned regularly, you will still encounter the occasional bug or mouse. There is an outhouse with a typical outhouse toilet, a clawfoot tub (supplied with water that you bring and heated to the temp you desire inside the cabin, then brought out to the containers in the outhouse) where you can take 'camp' showers and a dry sink to wash your face and brush your teeth (think 1800's). This amazing cabin has been in my family for 4 generations, so please be respectful of the space and treat it as you would a family treasure.
Because of the close proximity to the trees, please be respectful and only have small bonfires.
When you request to stay here, Please confirm that you understand that this is a cabin with no running water and an outhouse. And that even though this cabin is cleaned often, there will still be mice and spiders. I don't want anyone to be surprised. Surprises are only good when they involve chocolate and diamond rings. HA HA
This cabin has been in my family for generations and should be treated with the utmost care and respect. Please leave it exactly as you found it.

You will have access to the entire cabin and outhouse. The property itself is tiny and it only about a 1/4 of an acre, so please be respectful of the property surrounding the cabin. The cabin is accessible via a passcode lock. There are also keys in a lockbox, in case there are issues with the lock. There will be a $250 fee for lost keys.
I am a remote host, but am always available by e-mail if you need assistance. We also have local folks around that are available if you have an emergency.
Can't stress enough that the cabin is very rustic, but charming. if you are afraid of spiders or mice, this is not the place for you.
Check in is at 3PM and Check out is at eleven.
There is absolutely no hunting or guns allowed in/around the cabin. Guns are to be left in your vehicle, properly locked up or left at home.
Also, there is absolutely no cutting down of trees on the property. You may pick up fallen branches to burn in the fire pit.
• Dogs are allowed for a fee of $5 per dog/per day. We will send you a resolution request after the booking to collect this fee. There is a $250 fee for any dog poo that is left behind and you will be charged for any damage that your furry friend does to the cabin, including an additional $500 cleaning fee for any urination on the wood floors or furniture.

Quiet neighborhood with moderate street traffic, no visible neighbors. Cabin is set back about 150 feet from the street and is usually peaceful. You may occasionally hear the street traffic if a larger vehicle goes by. If you bring a pooch, make sure you keep an eye on them. It's super quick to get to the street and I would hate for a tragedy to happen.
Bethel Village is only about 1.5 miles up the street. Bethel has amazing food, a wonderful brewery, coffee shop and lovely shops. Sunday River and Mount Abrams are super close as well.
