Hillside House in Hawley

Located just a short walk from downtown Hawley, our home is close to everything going on but far enough away to give you that getaway that the Poconos offer. A short 5 minutes drive and you'll be on the shores of Lake Wallenpaupack. Hawley is the perfect place to hike the trails along the Lackawaxen River and we are 10 minute drive from Honesdale. Our home is perfect for families and friends wanting to get away.

Covid strikes

Most of the family got Covid so the host offered to rent just the bottom floor to me alone and give me a discount. But it is quite isolated and I didn’t feel safe staying there alone since I would be coming and going at night. However when I told her I would e be coming and to tell me know how to expect the discount/partial refund, I have heard nothing and still paid full price for an empty house.

Perfect location!

My family opted to stay at this lovey home versus a hotel during our visit for a wedding. We were not disappointed. The home is located within walking distance from the little downtown area. The neighborhood seems very safe, and quiet. The house itself was clean, and has been recently updated. The beds are quite comfortable. The listing was exactly as described. This home certainly beats staying at in an overpriced hotel room. The fire pit was quite enjoyable in the evening and there are a few deer that seem to enjoy hanging out in the driveway along with you. Overall we were pleased and would stay here again.

A lovely home

This lovely home was just completely renovated including quiet individual split system ac units with separate controls for each room. We had a very comfortable stay in this home at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this property.
