Minutes to campus 2mi to Boone Pickens or 3 to the Fairground
The Taggart House is a 3rd generation owned family house. It’s an inviting place that happens to be an easy drive to the OSU campus or the Payne Co Fairgrounds. Expect fun updates to the house each time you come back.
It’s a big house with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and large common spaces! The Taggart House sleeps 10 people in actual beds. There are single queen beds in 2 of the rooms. Another room has a full bed and the last room has a full under twin bunk with a twin trundle. The kitchen has a huge amount of counter space! At many family gatherings, those counters held lots of large Hideaway pizzas! (We even have an original Pente board for those with deep Stillwater roots!) Between the dining room & breakfast nook there’s seating for 14… add in the game table and you can easily seat 20 at the 3 tables. Small family reunions would be a breeze in this home. We ask you to respect the house & the neighbors, so no parties but family get togethers is what the Taggart House was made for! The driveway holds 8-10 cars.
We have a complete & monitored protection system here. This includes both smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors. Cameras outside to watch over your cars and the back side of the house. Stillwater is a safe town but since I own a security company, I’ve outfitted it for you like I’ve done my own house. We want to give you peace of mind while you’re with us!
We look forward to hosting you, your family & friends!

The home is charming. Everything was immaculate. There were so many extras provided to make our stay so enjoyable. We would highly recommend this beautiful home.
One of the best experiences we have had. Host was amazing and communication was above and beyond. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone and we hope to be back again!
One of the college boys stayed and said he may need to stay one more night because that was some of the best sleep he has gotten in a while! It was spacious for two families to enjoy and plenty of parking. We enjoyed the location, too. I know we would love it for graduation, if we knew when our Poke will be done.
A lovely little house that comfortably for 9 people ranging from 3-adult. Great location near campus and well kept.
Also, have a wonderful recommendation for a restaurant in Cafe Mona!
We absolutely loved this darling mid-century home. It was large, well appointed, and cozy. We all kept saying how we felt right at home there, and it was the best way to be together for our daughter's graduation weekend. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. We would stay there again!
This property fit our needs perfectly. We came to town with extended family to celebrate graduation and wanted a comfortable space that lets us feel as if we stayed home - not a hotel. The property was clean and beds comfortable. There were 10 in our group. Didn’t need to contact owners for help after we arrived, but did before arrival and they were quick to respond. Would recommend to others looking for lodging alternatives for a big group.
We traveled to Stillwater for the Boys from Oklahoma concert....it was a FANTASTIC trip! The property was super clean and fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. You could tell the home has been well taken care of. Our most favorite part of the home was the patio....we spent several hours out there before the concert - listening to music, chatting and enjoying the weather! It was an inexpensive Uber ride to The Strip and convenient to most everything else we needed. I can't say enough about the hosts either. They were extremely flexible and responsive (even when I contacted them at midnight when our door lock code wouldn't work). Thanks again for getting that resolved so quickly!!! Would definitely recommend this property!
We stayed two nights for a graduation at OSU. Property was fine. It was definitely dated and could use a remodel if the owners really want to increase the rental traffic. It was the only VRBO available so we took it. It was very clean and stocked pretty good. There was drip coffee but we could never find the drip coffee maker. There as a keurig but we had to go buy more pods. You have to plan the water usage. Older house so temperature of water can change in an instant. Someone flushed a toilet and the water goes from water to scalding in 3 seconds. The backyard seemed really nice but it was damp and cold when we were there so didnt enjoy. I’m not sure it was worth the per night rate plus fees we paid but the price has come down recently so probably worth it more now. It the end it served the purpose we needed it for.

I’m sorry you didn’t feel it was a 5 star stay. We had over 50 coffee & hot chocolate pods out which were mostly all gone. With more tea in the cabinet. Drip coffee is too messy. I’m not sure why there’s anything for it there. It did look like you all enjoyed all the snacks, candy and freezer items. Yes, the house is dated but I try to show that in the pics. I don’t love the wallpaper either and it will change at some point. You had a large party. Most places can’t sleep that many in actual beds.
I’m sorry you felt it was overpriced. We hadn’t had anyone tell us that before. We’ve added many amenities, which you all apparently enjoyed, that brings the price up as does demand. We had a waiting list for that weekend. We could have rented it for more.
