About this property
Vacation apartment/apartment for 6 guests in Oberuckersee (71462)
Apartment in the Vorwerk of Seehausen
On the mezzanine floor of the granite stone building, built in 1811 and renovated in 2008, there is the large holiday apartment with its 90 m² terrace and a view of the wide landscape from sunrise to sunset. The apartment offers space for up to 6 adults plus an extra bed for max. 4 children. The place is easy to reach by all means of transport and is still in the middle of nature - pure peace and relaxation.
If the apartment is already occupied, we are happy to offer the "Uckerseen apartment" with garden above, which can also be rented on this booking platform.
The 100 square meter apartment on the mezzanine has two separate bedrooms, one with a large double bed and one with two 100 cm. wide single beds; In addition, a 140 cm wide sofa bed, a bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink and toilet, as well as a spacious living and dining area with a panoramic window front and direct exit to the terrace, which leads into the open, fully equipped kitchen with separate pantry, fridge and freezer , so that the premises are also suitable for smaller events or seminars.
The entire living area is equipped with underfloor heating throughout. In the cold season you can light the stove, which can even be used for cooking and baking.
In the entrance area there is a wardrobe and a full-length mirror, in the living area 2 large leather sofas (three-seater) with a coffee table and large flat-screen TV, a lazy chair, a shelf, a small music system, in the office corner a desk with an office chair, in the dining area a large table with 8 Chairs, the aforementioned 140 cm. Sofa bed for one or two people, and a fireplace.
We provide washing machine and dryer on site for a fee. Wi-Fi is also available, use is possible after consultation, as is the provision of folding mattresses for extra beds for children up to 10 years and a crib. You can smoke comfortably on the terrace and also use the adjacent fireplace on long nights.
The property is located far from the traffic between the fields with a view to the horizon. It is within walking distance into the countryside down to the swimming area on Lake Unteruckersee, Seehausen (Uckermark) train station can be reached on foot in 25 minutes.
We kindly ask you to arrive for the key handover between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. and to leave by 10:00 a.m. Other arrivals - and departure times must be agreed individually. Because of the more distant shopping possibilities, it makes sense to travel with at least one car; for the apartment there are parking spaces on the property. If you want, you can rent a bike or a kayak, the nearest insertion point is 5 km. away
Arrival by car:
You are on the A 11 (Autobahn stretch Berlin - Stettin). Leave the motorway at the Gramzow exit, turn towards Prenzlau and drive on the B 198 to Bietikow.

Arrival by train:

Surroundings:
The Uckermark is the most sparsely populated area in Germany. In the fields and forests of the water-rich cultural landscape, you can discover a lot on your hikes, bike tours and excursions: historic houses and churches, handicrafts, exhibitions and local museums as well as many activities related to art and culture are offered to you in the region. An excursion steamer / passenger ship and a restaurant are 3 km away. The train station can be reached on foot in just 2500 m in Seehausen, arrival and departure every 2 hours. The nearest major city is Prenzlau with its famous Marienkirche, a brick Gothic cathedral, is 12 km away. A visit to the "Natur Therme" with thermal brine baths and sauna landscapes as well as a wellness and therapy area or the western town "Eldorado" in Templin, 32 km away, is always worthwhile. Even swimming in the Baltic Sea is possible, the lagoon is only 80 minutes away by car at 80 km and is definitely worth a day trip. Leisure activities: bathing and swimming, cycling and riding, fishing, kayaking, excursion steamers, hiking, Blumberger Mühle, trolley rides, knocking fossils, raft trips and guided canoe safaris, hydrobiking, individual horse-drawn carriage tours, individual Uckermark tours, hikes to the large stone graves, Schorfheide wildlife park, various cultural offers such as glassworks, paper workshop, farmer's cheese factory, basketry, pottery, chocolate factory and much more. Boitzenburg Castle, Gramzow Railway Museum, Flint and Ice Age, Chorin Monastery, Dominican Monastery in Prenzlau, Grindstone Museum, Palace and Lenné Park, Tobacco Museum, Water Tower / Biorama Project, 26 other museum addresses in the Uckermark, village church visit, Schwedt Aquarium (swimming pool), Reiki, biking - motocross, tennis (TC Seehausen), sailing (Natur- und Wassersportfreunde Oberuckersee e. V.), western town "Eldorado" in Templin.

The crane migration in autumn is a singular experience. Occasionally, the beautiful big birds will gather nearby the house, their trumpet calls being audible into the distance.
