Introducing Cedar Stow, a beautiful 2-story craftsman home located two blocks from Downtown Douglas Center Street, offering distant views of the Kalamazoo River. This accommodation includes 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, spacious living and dining rooms and a large well stocked kitchen. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, the living room has a cool gel memory queen size sofa mattress.
Explore all the Art Coast has to offer in Downtown Douglas located 2 blocks away, within walking distance from the home. This quaint town features a variety of local fare and restaurants, shops, and galleries. Guests can also enjoy convenient access to the kayak and paddle boarding launches for the Kalamazoo River. A one mile drive across the Kalamazoo River will take you to Saugatuck, Michigan which has additional shopping and dining options. Recognized as one of the top beaches in the country, the award-winning Oval Beach is a beautiful destination located just 2 miles northwest.
Cedar Stow provides 4 complimentary beach cruiser bikes for our guests to use during their stay. This is a fantastic way to explore Saugatuck and Douglas and take advantage of the Blue Star Trail. The cities of Douglas and Saugatuck offer the Interurban, a demand response public bus system. The Interurban offers curb to curb service in both the cities of Douglas and Saugatuck and all of Saugatuck Township. *Parking in downtown Douglas and Saugatuck is extremely limited during the summer season.

We understand that plans can change and recommend that all our guest consider purchasing travel insurance to cover cancellations that occur outside of our policy. Please note we do not offer discount pricing.

We welcome your furry friends during your stay. Our pet-friendly policy includes a $100 pet fee. This fee covers the necessary cleaning and amenities to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our guests. *please note for pets that the backyard at this home is not fenced in and pets should not be left unattended in the backyard.

Great stay

We loved our stay- great location walkable to Douglas downtown restaurants, playground and quick drive to beach and Saugatuck with our 2 young kids. Place was exactly as pictured and very clean. Enjoyed the small touches when we checked in including coffee station and mini shampoos etc. It was very quaint and peaceful- would definitely stay here again!

The house was exactly like it's pictured. So cute! In a great neighborhood. We walked to downtown Douglas with ease. Also walked into Saugatuck - a little lengthy of a walk but doable. Would love to stay there again 😍

We loved our stay in Douglas. The home is spotless, Cute little backyard, nice to cook in or out if you want to. Walking distance to downtown for cocktails/dinner. Bike ride away to Saugatuck. Neighborhood is very charming. Owners are very responsive! We will stay here again.

Charming house blocks away from lovely downtown Douglas and a short drive to Saugatuck. The space was so comfortable and clean! The bikes were very easy to navigate and ride through the neighborhood. The owners are quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!!

Great VRBO

The property was perfect for our 3 day stay. Restaurants are close by along with coffee shops. Easy to get to Saugatuck, Grand Haven & Holland. Neighbors are very friendly & easy to walk around the neighborhood. We rode the cruiser bikes but all 4 of us didn't find them very enjoyable. We are all use to old school cruisers and speed and hand break bikes. Probably would not use again. The beds were very comfortable and air conditioning efficient. Nice porch to sit on fire pit and patio chairs very usable. Easy access to get into the home when we arrived. Very clean. Worked out great for all of us. Would stay there again.

This rental is in a great location. Our first time staying Douglas vs saugatuck. The neighborhood is adorable, homes are all so well cared for. Just beautiful, quiet and relaxing. You will not be disappointed.
