About this property

Up to four adults and 2-3 children will love this spectacular home in the woods! With three bedrooms and three full baths, this home is perfect for families. Bear Paw Lodge is ideally located in the beautiful Tahoe Donner area and includes access to private amenities including pools, hot tubs, downhill and cross-country ski area, golf, and a private beach. One mile away from skiing & snow-tubing.

Enjoy the peaceful sounds of the pond in the Spring and be entertained by an impromptu concert of croaking frogs. It’s so much fun!

The living room is cozy with a new gas fireplace. The dining room table sits four comfortably and can fit up to six people. We also have three bars stools.

The main bedroom has a luxurious king bed and offers a beautiful view of the backyard. It has its own bathroom with a small shower.

The middle bedroom has a queen futon, and up the ladder/stairs is the loft, complete with a twin and a full bed, each in their own rooms. Depending on the age of your child, the loft is a wonderful getaway and they love it! Due to the lower ceiling heights, this is a child only zone.

The third bedroom is separated from the rest of the house and is perfect for
grandparents or nannies who would prefer a more private space. This room also has its own attached bathroom with a shower.

We have a fully-stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, and dishes you need. We have a coffee pot and a French press, condiments, spices, and more.

Snow saucers and snowshoes are waiting for you to fully embrace our Truckee winters.

In the summertime we have a gas BBQ in the backyard and comfortable lounge chairs.
We also have a refurbished swinging ski chair that everyone seems to love. Enjoy!

There are security cameras, and if you have more people than the maximum of four adults and three children, you will be asked to leave immediately.

Perfect for our family

The cabin was perfect for the four of us skiers. Everything was as described and clean. The bear decor was cute and added to our enjoyment. We enjoyed using the work out gym at Tahoe Donner and the hot tub. Love having access to that as a guest.

Tahoe Treasure

Before our stay and throughout it, the hosts had excellent communication with us. The home was clean and had a well stocked kitchen. The amenities close by in the Tahoe Donner community were more than we could’ve asked for. There is a lovely deck off the back with comfortable chairs, an outdoor table and even a relaxing little pond. Neighbors are kind and inviting. We very much enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year.

Right at home!

Great home located near Donner Ski Ranch. Communication with the host was excellent and very responsive. The house is cozy, and we felt right at home. The house had clean, comfortable rooms with amenities in the shower like body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. While we did not get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to, we are planning on coming back!!

Fantastic Stay, Great House

Very nice house. Much better then the pictures show. Very scenic with a peaceful running pound in the back. Lots of wildlife. The house also had a fully stocked kitchen which was a nice convenience. Can’t wait to come back.
