WELCOME TO 2955 NOCO – YOUR FAMILY'S ULTIMATE WHITE MOUNTAINS SPRING & SUMMER BASECAMP!
Imagine waking up to fresh mountain air, the kids already plotting their next adventure, and knowing that hiking trails, swimming holes, and downtown ice cream are all within minutes. That's exactly what awaits you at our spacious home in North Conway – where comfort meets convenience in the heart of New Hampshire's most beautiful valley!
**TRAILS RIGHT OUT YOUR BACK DOOR – LITERALLY**
This is where things get good. Step out our back door directly onto the Whitaker Woods trail system – over 20 miles of hiking and biking trails through pristine forest. Morning coffee hike? Done. Afternoon bike ride? No car needed. Kids want to "explore the woods" for the 47th time today? Just point them out back.
The trails have fitness stations scattered throughout if you're feeling motivated (or just want to pretend you are). It's basically a free gym membership, but with better views and fewer fluorescent lights.
**SPRING & SUMMER ADVENTURES (ALL CRAZY CLOSE)**
Our location is kind of ridiculous in the best way possible. You're tucked on a quiet, private wooded street, but everything worth doing is minutes away:
**Water & Waterfalls:**
- Echo Lake Beach: 5 minutes – sandy beach, swimming, kayaking, mountain views that'll ruin other lakes for you
- Diana's Baths: 8 minutes – gorgeous waterfall pools perfect for wading and exploring with kids
- Saco River: 5 minutes – tubing, kayaking, fishing, lazy summer afternoons
**Family Attractions:**
- Storyland: 8 minutes – classic family theme park that's been making childhood memories since 1954
- Conway Scenic Railroad: Walk to downtown depot (2 minutes) – vintage train rides through spectacular mountain scenery
- Santa's Village: 1 hr – Christmas in July is a real thing and it's magical
- Cranmore Mountain Adventure Park: 6 minutes – mountain coaster, aerial adventure course, zip lines, giant swing
**Hiking for All Levels:**
- Cathedral Ledge: 8 minutes – iconic cliff with jaw-dropping valley views (drive to the top or hike up)
- Artist's Bluff: 1 hr – short family-friendly hike with massive payoff views
- Mount Washington: 40 minutes – drive the auto road or hike New England's highest peak
- Arethusa Falls: 30 minutes – tallest waterfall in New Hampshire, worth every step
**Downtown North Conway:**
- 8-minute walk – seriously, you can stroll to restaurants, ice cream shops, boutiques, tax-free outlet shopping
- Delaney's Hole in the Wall and Elvio's Pizzeria are right across the street (dangerous for your waistline, excellent for your happiness)
**THE HOUSE THAT HAS EVERYTHING**
**Sleeps 13 with Actual Space to Breathe**
Unlike those cramped vacation rentals where everyone's tripping over each other, our 4BR/2.5BA home gives families room to spread out. Sleeps 3 families comfortably (up to 6 adults & 7 kids) or 10 adults if you're doing a grown-up getaway.
**Bedroom Setup:**
- Master Suite (1st floor): King bed, attached bathroom, in-room washer/dryer access because nobody wants to haul laundry around on vacation
- Bedroom 2: King bed, premium memory foam – perfect for another couple or grandparents who want their own space
- Bedroom 3: Queen bed, memory foam – great for adults or older kids claiming independence
- Kids' Loft (Bedroom 4): The crown jewel. 4 twin beds plus trundle, Nintendo Switch, 50" 4K TV, foosball table, board games. This is where kids disappear for hours and you get actual adult conversation time. Open to the kitchen below so you can keep tabs without hovering.
*Important: Twin beds/trundles have a 200lb limit – kids only up there, please. We know you want to relive your childhood, but physics.*
2.5 bathrooms = no morning traffic jam when everyone's getting ready. Each bedroom has blackout curtains for sleeping in and plenty of closet space.
**Kitchen That's Actually Stocked**
Not just "technically has a kitchen" stocked – actually useful stocked. Spices, cookware, Keurig, toaster, real utensils. Make pancake breakfasts before hiking, pack picnic lunches for the beach, or skip cooking entirely and walk to restaurants. Your call.
The big dining table is perfect for family dinners, board game tournaments, or spreading out maps while planning tomorrow's adventure.
**Outdoor Spaces You'll Actually Use**
**Fire Pit with String Lights:**
The evening MVP. Gather around for s'mores, storytelling, and conversations that go way later than planned. There's plenty of seating and enough ambiance to make everyone put their phones down (at least for a bit).
**Deck with Grill:**
Fire it up year-round. Burgers after hiking, grilled veggies from the farmer's market, whatever your family's into.
**Patio Dining Setup (May-Oct):**
Outdoor table and chairs for al fresco meals. Breakfast on the patio hits different when you're surrounded by trees.
**That Massive Backyard:**
Kids can actually run around. Build forts, play games, wear themselves out before bedtime. It's the kind of yard that makes "go play outside" a legitimate activity, not a punishment.
**Gear Room (Adventure Central)**
Mudroom with storage racks (perfect for hiking poles, beach gear), boot heaters (winter only) that work for drying wet shoes after creek wading or rainy hikes. Everything stays organized so you're not searching for lost hiking boots at 8am.
**Entertainment for All Ages**
- 55" 4K Smart TV in living room
- 50" 4K Smart TV in kids' loft
- All TVs are Roku with guest mode – log into your Netflix/Disney+/Hulu, auto-deletes at checkout
- Nintendo Switch in the loft
- Board games collection
- Kids' toys and books
- Pack 'n Play for little ones
- Foosball table keeps everyone entertained on rainy days
**Modern Comforts**
- Whole house air purifier (fresh mountain air, even fresher)
- Fast WiFi throughout
- Washer/dryer with detergent (master bedroom)
- Window AC units in every bedroom (May-Oct) – because spring nights can be warm
- Cozy electric fireplace for cool mountain evenings
- Complementary shampoo, conditioner, and body soap
**Parking for Days**
6+ vehicles fit easily in our private driveway. Multiple families? No problem. Boats, bikes, kayaks on roof racks? Bring it all.
**THE LOCATION SWEET SPOT**
Here's what makes this place special: You're on a quiet, private wooded street (peaceful evenings, great sleep, feels like you're away from it all), but you can walk to downtown in 2 minutes. That combination is almost impossible to find, and guests tell us this constantly in reviews.
Private seclusion + walkable convenience = the rare unicorn of vacation rentals.
