This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Historic home with Civil War stories. Hosts - Vanessa and Mike are extremely friendly and make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was unbeatable. I would highly recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Our stay at the Hopestead was absolutely amazing. From start to finishing it was an incredible experience. The home alone is something that you just don’t see everyday. Michael and Vanessa are awesome people that take the time to make you feel like family. We will definitely be back to this magical place in the future.
We were promptly greeted by the hosts unpin arrival. They took time to give us a tour and explain some of the history. They were kind enough to send us restaurant info ahead of our visit and also let us know the town “shuts down early”, which was very valuable to know ahead of time so we could plan accordingly. We can’t say enough great things about our stay!! Highly recommend!!
We absolutely loved everything about this stay. the only downfalls are that we had no service.. lol the owners were amazing, though. very thorough with everyone’s stay there. if you needed something, they’d right on it. the house was beautiful and very up kept. the breakfast was absolutely amazing. i would 100% recommend staying!
We had an amazing experience at this property. Our expectations were definitely exceeded.
Vanessa did a fantastic job coordinating our arrival with really good communication via text and email. She made us comfortable with very precise directions.
The Hopestead is tucked away on a farm not very far from the Jack Daniel’s Distillery making it a great place to stay after a tour. We did that on our way to a Nashville concert.
This renovated Civil War era home still feels historically authentic yet has all the comforts and conveniences of today (Central Heat and Air, High Speed Internet, YouTube TV, etc.). Vanessa gave us a tour upon arrival with a great story behind the property’s history. She answered more questions about the history and renovation over a fantastic breakfast that she prepared for us on the morning of our departure.
You won’t be disappointed with your stay.
We stayed at the sweetest little bed and breakfast and it had so much history and charm. Mike and Vanessa were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcomed. Everything was very clean and had such a home feel! I would definitely stay here again!
