As you enter into the villa, you are greeted by an open-air plan with spectacular ocean views. The modern kitchen supplies everything you will need for the quick snack or a full sit-down family meal. Just off the kitchen you will find a dining area and a spacious open living space with 48” TV. Large wrap around oceanfront balcony tops of the area.
The property offers 4-bedroom 4-full baths with 3 bedrooms direct ocean front views.

The first-class Oceanfront Master Suite is equipped with a King bed, 48" Flat Screen TV, and a Private Bath featuring a Glass Shower, Jacuzzi Tub, and Double Sinks. Guests can access the Private Oceanfront Balcony from the Master Suite. Oceanfront Bedroom #2 has a Queen size bed, 38" Flat Screen TV, and a Private Bath with Glass shower. Oceanfront Bedroom #3 has a King bed, 38" Flat Screen TV, and a Private Bath with a Tub/Shower combo. This bedroom also has access to the Oceanfront Balcony. Bedroom 4 offers Landscape views and is outfitted with a Queen bed, 32" Flat Screen TV, and Private Bath with a Tub/Shower combo.

The resort amenities include a oceanfront swimming pool and a separate wading pool for smaller children complete with a “mushroom fountain.” The pool areas include adjacent bathrooms, large sun deck, and covered gazebo with a grill. A private boardwalk with showers to rinse off the sand leads directly to the beach.
The Oceanfront Pool measures 40' x 60' and is 3' - 5' in depth. The pool is heated mid-March thru April and mid-October thru November.(Dates set and controlled by building management) The Baby Pool measures 40' x 40' and is 1' - 3' in depth.
Palmetto Dunes is one of the premiere areas of Hilton Head Island and has three miles of beach, three signature golf courses, world-renowned tennis, and an 11-mile lagoon system where guests can kayak, canoe and fish. There are miles of leisure paths that weave throughout the resort that are great for walking, jogging and biking. Plus Shelter Cove Marina on Broad Creek is close by where you will find live entertainment, restaurants and shops.

If you can get past the initial strong smoke when you open the door, it is a very beautiful and spacious condo! Beautiful views of the ocean and the pool. Private bathrooms in every room! The kitchen had a plethora of utensils and dishes. The balcony is large and spacious. There are a few warn out things, but still a nice place to stay.

Good ocean views with a very short walk to the beach. Complex and grill area was nice. Adequate BR space for 4 couples with LR and DR for congregating. Location is mid-island so close to everything.

Fall Get-away

This condo is well stocked and plenty of room to spread out. The large balcony is wonderful with a view of the ocean and pool area. The bathrooms could stand to be updated. Will definitely rent this condo again! Great location with garage parking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an amazing week at Windsor II. The unit is very comfortable and accessible for guests of any age. The pool and beach access were great for our family’s kids. The unit was exactly as described and there were even bonus items like puzzles in the unit which our kids enjoyed playing with. We loved cooking in the unit and also at the pool grill. Bonus is that one of the bedrooms is on the interior and has blackout shades- it’s great for kids to sleep! The unit was very clean. We had an issue with dirty floors when we arrived but it was fixed immediately by the management.I look forward to booking this unit or another with Hilton head rentals again and would highly recommend to others.

We had plenty of space and enjoyed our stay. The decor isn't "beachy", but that didn't bother us. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Access to the pool and beach is amazing. The accommodations are beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We love Palmetto Dunes, the General Store, the walking/biking trails, and easy access to Shelter Cove and all the great restaurants on the island. We will be back in 2025. This unit and Hilton Head Rentals are winners!

Dated and Needing Repairs

The view from this property is simply beautiful, and it overall was a great visit, though we were both surprised and disappointed by the state of the unit. First, it is incredibly dated, seemingly not touched for a few decades for basic updates. It felt stuck in 1990! More surprising were the gaps in basic upkeep. The master shower leaked water all over the floor since the seal at the bottom was broken, the kitchen table chairs all sagged so much in the middle we needed to add bed pillows to sit on them, kitchen cabinets are missing knobs, the stove took forever to heat up- the list is long. Given how much this unit costs, a basic update is in order. Overall, though, despite the disappointments in the unit, it was a beautiful and wonderful visit!

It Was Just Okay

As I approached the front door for the very first time I could immediately smell cigarette smoke...this greatly increased as we entered the unit. As someone with respiratory issues this was very disheartening so I immediatey called the "after hours" number but did not hear from someone until the next morning and they sent a cleaning crew who spayed some industrial air freshener...all in all it was about Day 3 that the smell started to dissipate. I inquired about a partial refund and was told they would check on it but I have still not heard anything back from them. All in all we made the most of it and managed to have a great vacation but I am unsure how the cleaning crew would not report such a strong smoke smell and we were not informed. Not impressed with the property management aspect of this rental but its a great location and a dated but decent unit.

Reviewer Comments: 2418 Windsor II – July 1st – July 8th,2023My family and I were extremely disappointed with our stay in 2418 Windsor II. Upon arriving and physically viewing the condo, it was obvious the owner did not keep the furniture or amenities (TV, appliances, etc.) updated. Condo dirty & AC not functioning properly. 1) AC Not Working – Upon arriving we noticed all of the fans were running. As we unpacked, we noticed it was warm in the condo, figured it was due to the door being open as we unloaded our luggage. After a couple of hours, we noticed the temperature was staying between 77-80 degrees. Called management team, they sent repairman. He worked for 1-2 hours; he said he could not fix it due the AC unit was frozen. He originally told us to keep the unit off all night hoping it would defrost by morning. then he returned and said to keep it on because it would get too hot in the condo. 2nd serviceman arrived the next day worked on AC. He determined he could not repair the unit. 3rd service man came later in the day, replaced the unit. After he finished, I noticed fragments on the floor. I cleaned the floor & found pieces of metal shavings on the floor.2) Condo Extremely Poor Cleanliness throughout the Condo• Floors throughout the condo were filthy, could not walk through condo without shoes on. When barefooted or in socks, our feet and sock would be black.• Doors and handles throughout the place were filthy. • Balcony table had remains of food & grime from previous renters. Chairs felt grimy.• Glass coffee pot had huge hole in the bottom of the pot• Master bedroom bedspread was stained.3)Cabinets and Furniture in Poor Condition• Master bathroom drawer was broken. Unable to push in drawer• Master bathroom TV and equipment was extremely out dated• Many furniture pieces had wood peeling off and/or chipped.We s
