About this property
Enjoy the Trees, the Trails, and the Town
Airy, spacious 3 bedroom/1.5+ bath home with lovely brand new two-story deck and views of forest. One queen bed and two full beds.
Brand new gorgeous Acacia floors in living room and dining room; numerous skylights and big windows; comfy sectional couch and oversized chair, perfect for curling up on to read the morning paper. Mini-split (AC/Heat) on upper level (common areas); lower level is built into a hillside and stays cool.
New two-story deck with view of woods on the hillside.
Hot tub added in 2023!
Lush tree-lined South Hills neighborhood with miles of walking paths and streams with connect with Ridge Line Trail.
Four miles from track events at Hayward Field, and two miles from the spectacular 360 degree views of Spencer Butte. We bought this home recently, and live here part time (that's why there are few reviews).
As noted in the "About You" section, we do occasionally have pets in the house, so if you have strong pet allergies, this may not be the right choice for you.
There is an attached ADU with a separate entrance, with a tenant. You will probably not see each other, except that there is a shared driveway.

About the host
Hosted by Denise Wolf

We bought this house about two years ago, and have been upgrading it. It's a work in progress. We still need professional landscaping, for example. In the house, though, there are new skylights, windows, floors, and granite bathroom countertops downstairs..
We live in the house part time, with our dog. (There were cats in the house one year ago, but this should not be an issue for most people.) We have fallen in love with this lush, bucolic college town, and hope you do too!

Why they chose this property
Lovely forest views from the common areas, lots of light, and comfortable places to lounge. A bit eclectic.
What makes this property unique
An easy drive to the Williamette River, track events, and hiking, with a creekside trail just around the corner.
The previous owner was Japanese, and there are still some Japanese accents, like the Koi pond next to the front door.
