2 BR, 1 BA Modern Bungalow located in Galveston’s historic east end. Outside, enjoy two oversized patios furnished with all you need to host cocktail hour or a small bbq. The backyard is fully furnished with a huge patio, fire pit, and small water-feature all perfect to relax with friends and family. Inside you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen with a oversized island. Connected to the living room you won’t feel secluded from guest when making food or drinks in the kitchen. The living room is a perfect place to relax and watch a movie on the large Roku tv. Just through the living room you will find two eloquently decorated bedrooms with queen size bed and luxury bedding. A bathroom and laundry room with a full size washer/dryer.

I reserved this property and checked in with the host Saturday prior to our arrival for Sunday to confirm everything. Sunday comes and we're headed down to Galveston and the host asked if we could delay check in since the house was not ready. We accommodated the request but by 7:45 pm that evening we finally got the message that we can check in. Upon arriving at the house, the house was a MESS... there were nails, screws and debris all on the floor. The trash cans were full, dog food scattered on the floor, step ladders in random parts of the house. The restroom sink didn't have running water and that is the ONLY bathroom in the house. The main bedroom was not made, the sheets had bloodstains and did not look clean. The second bedroom had a mattress thrown on the floor. The dryer had broke the day of our arrival but the bedding supposedly was washed that day. We ended up not staying at the property due to the conditions. I notified the host and told him that we could not stay due to the conditions of the house. We asked for a refund and he completely cut off all communications at the point. I then reached out to VRBO to file a claim and I'm still getting the run around of the refund... I wasn't going to post all of this as I wanted to give the host and VRBO a chance to fix the situation but at this rate I'd figured I'd warn others since no one is doing anything about it.
