In close proximity to the beach and several great local restaurants, the Island Pride Bungalow is perfect for your island getaway. The three bedrooms include 2 king beds and a queen bed. Enjoy an evening breeze on the front porch or grill out in the back yard patio. This house has everything you'll need for a relaxing stay in Galveston!

BEDROOMS
Island Pride Bungalow generously offers 2 king beds and 1 queen bed. There are 3 bedrooms total, each with a bed of its own for your privacy. Nestle yourself into a spacious bed and drift off to a restorative night’s sleep! Each bedroom includes a Roku SmartTV and a dresser.

BATHROOM

There is 1 bathroom with a shower + tub combination, which is particularly convenient for families with small children. Enjoy steady hot water and great water pressure. Bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hand soap, and body lotion are provided.

KITCHEN

A sizable island + multiple counters make this kitchen the perfect space for groups that like to cook together. Fully equipped with glasses, mugs, plates, bowls & silverware for 6. Coffee/Tea Bar includes drip coffee maker, Keurig, and electric kettle. Blender, toaster, crock pot, and microwave included. Gas stovetop range + oven. Pots/pans, baking sheet, oil, salt & pepper.

DINING ROOM

The dining table with seating for 6 creates an intimate setting for quality family time, meals and games surrounded by fantastic craftsman woodwork and built-ins.

LIVING ROOM

Perfect for low-key nights in, our 50“ SmartTV will entertain your family as they relax and unwind on the heavenly couch and sofa chair. Log in to your accounts to enjoy Netflix, HBO, Prime, Hulu, Disney+ and more. A selection of books and children's activities are provided. Pull up a yoga mat and get fit (Cardio or Strength) or relax (Meditation or Stretching) with the Peloton app.

WORKSPACE

For moments when you need to check emails or take care of business, our dedicated workspace is the answer. We provide a desk for your comfort, located in the dining room. Strong WiFi is available throughout the house.

Stayed here for October and it was a great experience. Location was very convenient to everywhere around and Justin and Lindsey were very responsive for any potential needs. Definitely recommend!

Really great house in a great neighborhood. Very easy and walkable fourish blocks to the beach. I like the beaches further out of the city, but if you want proximity to downtown (the strand), AND the shore, this is a great place. Love the house, clean, everything you need.

This location was roomy, very clean, beautiful, well-supplied, & had a great backyard for house-trained dogs. The king bed, of two offered, was very comfortable and the A/C and fans kept it pleasantly comfortable as well. The location was very close to the sea-wall/ beach and a handful of great restaurants to try. Very attentive hosts.

The house was just as advertised. It is in a nice neighborhood with an easy walk to the seawall. One great thing was the amount of multiple outlets in each room. Made it easy to plug in and charge your things. Also appreciate the coffee bar. Very clean.

The house is beautiful. This is a hundred years old house so take that into consideration. The seawall is just 2 blocks away. There are so many good restaurants nearby. We will definitely be staying again.

Fabulous place to stay for the two of us and our furry friend! The kitchen was FULLY stocked with anything you need to make a meal. We like to cook and it was awesome!! Good shower. Very comfy couch and beds. If bringing a dog, the fencing is not fully enclosed. Super easy walk to the beach. Would 100% stay again.

Our week long stay was very enjoyable. Being just three blocks from the Gulf was fantastic. We are an older couple who enjoy walking. We loved that we could bring our 2 Corgis with us and take them for walks along the beach and Seawall Blvd. Having a fenced in back yard for them to play in is an additional bonus. There are so many fantastic restaurants close by, it was hard to chose where to eat when we dined out. Visiting the historic Strand District and looking at all of the old houses was amazing. We would definitely stay again.

The location is great! Quiet neighborhood just 5 minute walk (or less) from the Seawall. The house has very comfy beds & a great couch for lounging in the living room. A big table to have nice family dinners. Although I ate out a lot :) , the kitchen was well equipped. Very nice shower & plenty of hot water. AC & WiFi worked great! Loved the wood accents in the house, a great pairing of old & new. The house was so perfect for my stay. I worked during the week & enjoyed the island on my off hours. The backyard is fenced and my pup loved it! The BBQ pit was available to use but again, I ate out a lot! I LOVE Galveston & I loved this house!

Quiet with everything you need!

I needed a change of scenery to work virtual and have a break from my every day near the beach. The location is great! Beds are comfortable, plenty of space, great wifi, washer and dryer, and everything you need in the kitchen! Responsive management and easy check in. Note that for visitors you must go up and down steps for loading and unloading, along with going up and down, steep steps to get to the washer and dryer and back yard so for elderly and for a little kids, this should be very clear. Also bathroom access is only through bedrooms, not through any common areas but it’s not an issue with doors for privacy. House is well kept and even towels and beach chairs and umbrella available for use! We would rent again!

Nice house near the beach

This was a lovely house only a few blocks away from the beach. We were in town for a family emergency and had to book last minute. Hotel prices were outrageous, so this was a great alternative. My only issues were that we had to call for the security code when we got there instead of receiving it ahead of time. We arrived at 9pm so this was a little inconvenient, but our call was answered right away. Also, the ad should mention that the only access to the bathroom is through two of the three bedrooms. Us being family, it wasn’t that big of a deal, but having to disturb people sleeping to use the bathroom could be a problem for others. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
