About this property

Cozy Boho Guesthouse + Rooftop Deck in the Trees

This guesthouse gem is the perfect place to hang your hat while exploring Austin. With a private entrance, killer rooftop deck, and stylish interiors, it's perfect for the solo traveler or couple looking to stay in one of the best Austin neighborhoods. Brentwood Social House, an adorable coffee shop is two blocks away and Bird Bird Biscuit is across the street. Downtown Austin is just a 10 minute uber away. This spot is an Austin gem!

This guesthouse is an adorable two story apartment, with one totally private Airbnb unit on the ground floor and one totally private Airbnb unit on the second floor. This unit is the second floor spot, which is choice because of the generous and private rooftop deck. It's tucked behind a tall fence with a nice off street parking spot so you can park just a few steps from your door.

After parking, you enter a shared ground floor patio area, where you're welcome to hang out. You enter your unit by entering your access code to the hallway door, which takes you upstairs. Then there's your front door at the top of the stairs, also accessed with a code. Your rooftop deck is accessed through the large sliding glass doors.

Guests enter with a keypad. If you need anything during your stay, just message us here.

This guesthouse is in the Brentwood neighborhood, which is one of Austin's coolest most central spots. The neighborhood was built in the 50's and 60's with most of the houses freshly remodeled, so it's eclectic and unique (like Austin!) There is a gigantic city park about a 10 minute walk away alongside a cute grocery store, ice cream shop, and old school deli. Brentwood is slightly north of downtown and within a 10 minute drive, you can get to just about any interesting Austin spot you'd like.

The neighborhood is super central and one of Austin's favorite neighborhoods. Parking is easy, as there is a driveway a few steps from the unit, where you can park. There is a convenience store two properties over alongside a laundromat in case you need to do laundry or grab some drinks or snacks.

This is a one bedroom apartment with a small kitchenette and seating area, plus a small fridge. We have a Murphy bed so you can fold up the bed easily during the day and have more space for guests to come visit, yoga, etc.

Busy intersection
I would have liked more honesty about 1) the deck overlooks a Shell station 2) please label photos indicating which unit they represent 3) needed a knife for cutting 4) maybe a few more glasses/cups Please add info about the area. Eg let people know they absolutely need a car to stay here

ok for a short trip- not clean
Really enjoyed the patio deck and the cleaning person who dropped sheets off was friendly. Not a ton of space- but if you’re only looking for a place to lay your head/ very short term rental then this is an ok spot. We were in town for F1 race and cost wise this was ideal. Lots of spots to eat close by. Cleanliness of this rental was nowhere near the standard. I do a walkthrough/ wipe down wherever I stay and I was starting to clean the walls . The sheets were soft, but dirty. When I asked for more sheets it was a“ oh I’m sure the sheets were clean but someone can drop off new sheets in the next hour” . I didn’t like that response at all. Apologize for the dirty sheets and keep it pushing. We found dried food- looked like food- stuck to the base of the toilet and on the shower mat. Hair and other debris on the plates and kitchenette shelving. So many stains on the walls and light fixtures. The shower curtain had brown crud on it. It was just not clean.
