This was my second time staying at this villa. I will stay there again in 2026. I love this place I was there for the entire month of December. When we arrived the AC in the living room was running poorly. Chris the property manager didn’t hesitate to get it fixed. One evening we were swimming and the water had poor pressure inside. We were unaware of the issue. Helen the cleaning lady and Trevor the security guard worked well into the evening to fix it with the technician on the phone. Once fixed Helen told us the issue. They took it upon themselves to ensure our stay was comfortable. Helen was amazing and very helpful. The modern esthetics of the villa gave us American style comforts we are accustomed to while still providing us with the opportunity to experience the traditional Kenyan life. The pool has a lot of trees near it. Trevor kept our pool clean multiple times a day. A few days I told him not to worry about it because we wouldn’t be swimming. He cleaned it anyway he said “just in case”. Absolutely amazing staff. Annette was with us in 2023 she was working at a different house but still checked on us regularly. The Backpackers is next door we ate there a few nights that we didn’t feel like cooking or getting back out. They are a bit noisy at Backpackers on the weekends but the structure of the villa is solid so you can only hear them if your outside swimming. I LOVE TAMASHA AND ITS STAFF.
I absolutely loved the villas. The staff was great the security also kept the pool maintained which was nice. We stayed 3 weekends. The Diani Backpacker next door love to party. Their music is pretty loud but it does not bother you in the Villa rooms. The music can be heard in the bathrooms and living room. We will stay here again. The pool makes it easy to stay in all day. The villa has all you need to cook. The water is actually hot. My last two visits at another location did not have hot water. The internet works amazingly. I loved this villa. The only issue was the music from the backpackers it put a damper on night outdoor time. The genre of music was not my preference but was not the worlds worse.
