We really enjoyed our stay at Big Timbers. It was a great home base for exploring Itasca State Park & the surrounding area. The unit was clean & comfortable. Having ice cream across the parking lot was a huge bonus!

It was our 4th time at Big Timber, We love this place, we love its spirit. Spent entire day in Itasca state park again. Had a bite at Lobo's and Knob&Kettle's. Will come back in 2027 for sure.

Great Little Motel!

This motel was conveniently located just across the highway from the north entrance of Itasca State Park. The room was spacious, clean, and adorably decorated. The owner was friendly and kind. My 12 year old son and I had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend staying here!
