Located in the private gated Coosawattee River Resort. Watch Deer from the wrap around porch and balcony with only the sounds of nature. Wonderful open floor plan. Spacious bedrooms with access to a porch on both levels. Great loft with third sleeping area and work space. Amenities that include pools, river parks, stocked fishing pond, gym, game room, picnic areas and playgrounds. Great getaway from the city

Nick was a great host and made our stay very smooth. The cabin was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. This place is just as beautiful as the pictures. We weren’t looking to do much but relax for a few days and this was the perfect cabin for that. The cabin isn’t too far from downtown Ellijay so if you want to enjoy a good steak or a massage you can find both there. We look forward to booking again in the future.

In a word…Fabulous!

My daughter and I came up for a quick birthday getaway. I’ve stayed at many great VRBOs over the years and can say this is certainly the best I’ve experienced. This is the cleanest VRBO home we’ve stayed in. It is beautifully decorated and loaded with supplies and comforts to ensure a 5-star stay! I can’t say enough to recommend this home; our host Nick was so helpful throughout our stay. The area is beautiful and peaceful. We hope to come back one day.

Getaway weekend with the grandkids

This was our 5th VRBO rental this year and it was by far “the Best”! Our host, Nick, was in constant communication the whole weekend. The house was very comfortable and felt just like home. We had everything we needed from towels, robes and blankets to toiletries in the bathroom. The kitchen also had everything we needed. There is so much to do close by. We enjoyed a swim at the indoor pool at Eagle Mountain and visited a couple wineries and apple orchard stores. We would definitely return to Chateau Gusteau and the Ellijay area.

Comfortable and Beautiful

My family and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The host was friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. The cabin is in the middle of beautiful country, with the sound of the river just outside. There are many areas close by to relax and play. The cabin itself is beautify and cozy. We loved the fireplace and the large ceilings. The large TVs were a plus and the kitchen was well equipped. We were very sad to leave.
