This home is in a quiet neighborhood within a 7 minute walk to Walla Walla University Campus. Downtown Walla Walla & Whitman College Campus are both only 3 miles away. The home is also a close drive to many wonderful wineries and golf courses.

Note: If you're planning on getting Uber, Lyft, or a taxi on a Sat. evening, please plan ahead as this is a smaller community than what you might be used to.

Other things to note:
Pet dogs are welcome with a $50 flat fee per stay (2 dogs max.). Please don't leave dogs unattended while visiting. Sorry, no cats :-(

Everything you need!

This cute home is extremely well appointed for a stay in Walla Walla. It’s impeccably clean, the beds are comfy as advertised, it’s stocked with everything you need (and then some!), and communication from the property manager was excellent. We very much appreciated the fully stocked coffee bar and gift packet from the local lavender farm. Everything within the host’s control was 5-stars. The drawback is location…the neighborhood isn’t great, and descriptions don’t mention that the beautiful backyard shares a fence with the ginormous water tower for the city of College Place. It’s surrounded by a working utility yard, and heavy equipment (bulldozers, forklifts, trucks) started at 7:00 am and continued throughout the day… lots of beeping and rumbling, and quite loud. Fortunately we were out much of each day, but it’s something for folks to be aware of if you’re sensitive to noise.

Oh the grass...

Wonderful home with a beautiful backyard. We enjoyed our time inside and out and the home was stocked with every pan, dish, towel, pillow or blanket we needed. Sitting by the fire pit with a good cup of joe to start the day...heaven.

Family getaway

Hanns and his property was the perfect getaway for our family! The location was perfect close to town but quiet. We loved the backyard! The fire pit was a highlight of our trip! We were able to hangout and make wonderful memories! The beds were absolutely amazing!

I love playing Ultimate Frisbee nearly any time and any place! I enjoy bouldering in Bishop, backpacking in the Northwest, or hiking to any location that has a great view. Perhaps the most amazing thing I've seen is lava flowing into the Pacific Ocean off the Big Island!

I'm pretty easy going in terms of how I travel. I've been to a number of Third World Countries and everything in-between. I've slept on gym floors, in airports, at 10,000+ ft. on backpacking pads, and in five star hotels. ;)

I am an outgoing introvert. . .hahaha! I enjoy meeting other people and finding out about them and their experiences but need my quiet time as well. I'm respectful of other people and their space and want people to treat me the same way.

Why they chose this property

When I purchased the property it needed a FULL remodel, it was easily the worst property on the street. After a ton of work, it's arguably the best on the street and I intend to keep it that way! After; converting the extra room back into a garage, adding another bathroom, revising the floor plan, replacing siding, doors & windows, installing new floors, new paint, new lighting, redoing all the landscaping, and a zillion other things, I was ready to be done. Done spending too much time. Done spending money like I don't like it! You know, that kind of done.

What makes this property unique

This entire property is easy to navigate for all ages! It has no steps inside and only one step up from the front sidewalk. The back steps are also easy to get onto the back patio. In the evening the back patio is bathed in the warmth of string lighting attached to the pergola that's large enough to be bigger than most tiny homes. The outdoor space is so inviting and relaxing in the evenings.
