About this property

Wild Bear Lodge (formerly Grizzly Bear Ranch) is a small, specialised wilderness lodge about halfway between Vancouver and Calgary. We are located in the world’s only inland temperate rainforest, a vast hideaway of ancient mountains, old-growth trees, and fast-flowing rivers.

During the summer the lodge is available for whole-family rentals or groups of friends up to 10 in number. Two members of staff will be in site en ensure safety and the smooth running of the lodge, but the lodge kitchen, common seating area, and four cabins will be at your disposal. Each cabin can come with one king-sized bed or two twins/singles.

We do not offer guided tours at this time of year, but the lodge is situated right on a pristine and fast-flowing wilderness river and there are many great activities available nearby.
