All you could possibly need was there!!!

Our family took a trip to Florida for Christmas this year,2023. We weren’t interested in staying near the congested tourist areas. This house was perfect! It’s in the country, far enough out, yet close to everything! The bonus, it’s 6 minutes from downtown Mt. Dora. The hosts were amazing and available to answer questions we had. The house included absolutely everything. We cooked Christmas dinner there and had all the kitchenware needed to make it perfect family evening. There was even a dog dish and high quantity treats for our eight month old puppy. Anyway, our whole family of 7 voted and we alol agree that this will be our landing pad for all of our future trips back to central Florida.

clean and quiet , loved the nature around

Property was clean and exactly as on the pictures, spacious kitchen and rooms. the house overall was excellent. Love the yard and all the nature that surrounds it. everything you need they have. had a great thanksgiving and birthday week. looking forward to booking in the future when in the area.

Had the Best time, awesome hosts!

We had such a nice stay. Bryan and Sharon were such great hosts! The location was perfect, we had our 4 legged family members so having a little space for them was great and we were still super close to Mount Dora, Leesburg, Tavares, the Villages, etc. Will definitely stay there again. House is so charming and spacious, plenty of room for the whole family. We even had goodies waiting for us upon our arrival! This house and these hosts were top notch! Thanks again, Ann, AJ and family

Mt Dora is known as "Someplace Special" which is why is so fitting that we found this beautiful home tucked into it's wooded homestead setting. When purchased, the home looked nothing like it does now. It was just waiting to reveal it's potential. After a full renovation in 2021, it took shape as the boho cottage it is now. With plenty of room to greet our guests, we knew this property would be a fantastic place for you to explore everything central Florida has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Some of the features that really blossomed from the renovation were the wood accents on the ceiling, and large wood trusses that make up the fireplace. The 100+ year old trusses were reclaimed by the owners from a train bridge where the trains once fed the Carnegie steel-mills of Pittsburgh Pa. With the live-edge oak kitchen table, coffee table and living room rug, it really pulls the cozy feeling of the boho design together. Guests can relax in the high-backed chair next to the fireplace and read a book or enjoy their coffee at the kitchen bar. In a separate family room, they can log into the Smart-TV and enjoy their own favorite TV shows from Netflix and Hulu. The main and guest bathrooms have been fully renovated and well appointed; giving our guests the feeling they are in a luxury home away from home.
