This large, 1925 classic old Florida home in lovely Eustis will hold your vacation memories. It's clean and comfortable, with updated bathrooms, all new windows. Be aware that there are level changes and sloped floors on the now- enclosed porches.

It has four spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, and several extra rooms. There are two enclosed porches (one with a bed) and a speakeasy, plus a half acre yard with a fenced 8 foot deep pool.

There's a separate cottage on the 1/2 acre property. Trusted tenants Deonte and JJ live there.

Great Location in Eustis!!

The beautiful “quirky” house in Eustis was perfect for our short family vacation! Close to Mt. Dora and all the Disney locations! The property was clean and has a beautiful swimming pool! Communication with the property manager (Amy) was excellent! I highly recommend staying here when in the area!!

Historic Pleasure

Historic home with fun quirks. The pool was perfect, the beds were comfy, and the baby pack and play with new mattress was greatly appreciated. We highly recommend staying at the Lemon House.

Graduation stay over

My family came to town to celebrate our nephews college graduation. House was very nice and peaceful. Very cool older house, lots to enjoy and explore especially the speakeasy. Pool in backyard is nice and big. Amy and her son were the perfect hosts!! Anytime we need a place to gateway to this one is near the top!

We enjoyed our stay in this historic charmer. It was very clean 4 bedroom 100 year old house. We loved the lounge area with secret door. It was very spacious with updated kitchen and bathrooms. The property owner was very kind and responsive. I would definitely stay there again!

Eustis Wedding Stay

The house is great and just as described. We got to enjoy some good pool time and family time. My daughter got married in Eustis at The Little Chapel of Love and this is where we stayed. Amy was a great host. She answered any questions I had and stayed in touch with us during our visit. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay is Eustis.

Very nice location. In walking distance of a small lake and not far from downtown Eustis or Mount Dora. Owner left snacks and food in the fridge. Beds slept well. Large pool!

Charming House

We had a wonderful stay the house was adorable and had so much room. As an older room that was redone it was charming and fun. The beds were fantastic and we had plenty of room with all the rooms. The yard was large and fenced in which which was great for our dog. The pool was also larger than expected and so nice after a day of fun. It was not far from the downtown are which was also very cute. The host was outstanding left us snacks and wine and answered all our questions quickly. Overall we all enjoyed the stay and would stay there again.

Charming Lemon Ave Home

We really enjoyed our stay on Lemon Ave. We were in Eustis for a wedding and this place was perfect for us. Nice sized bedrooms, great family areas, and a pool for all to enjoy. Amy, the owner, was excellent to communicate with. She got us all set up with water, snacks, and coffee. This home was charming and well cooled for the Florida weather. The house was extremely clean when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and lots of towels and beach towels too. The location of this house is ideal; an hour from Orlando, 1.5 hours from Daytona beach, etc. It's very central to all kinds of activities. We were very impressed and plan to come back again.

Cozy home with versatile spaces for extended family stay

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. My wife and I were welcoming our first child and needed to have extra room for an extended family visit. There were plenty of seating spaces and areas that gave us room to enjoy each other's company and not be directly ontop of one another.As the owner mentioned in the description, the house is a historic property that lends itself to charm and quirks. For example, there may or not be a "hidden passage" that was fun to stumble across. On the other hand, there were also minor items that were in need of small repairs/upkeep. I can only imagine the challenges in maintaining a 100 year old property.The owner was friendly and quickly responded when we had questions.My family has mentioned several times that they missed their time at this property. It was incredibly easy to feel "at home".

I grew up in Florida in the 60's. I worked in the tech side of TV in my career...editor, producer, teacher. I have been hosting short term rental guests for over 20 years and I like it. As a frequent traveler, I think I get what guests want.

Why they chose this property

Except for the school, it's a super peaceful neighborhood. If you hate children laughing across the street during the day, don't stay here.

There are four bedrooms upstairs, and one double vanity sink, plus a shower bathroom. There's a full bed on the back porch, but it's not made up for guests; you have to let us know and there is an extra charge of $35. There are minor level changes in the house due to 100 years of add-ons....two of the upstairs bedroom have a step down to them. I raised the living room floor to install real oak, so there's a sloped threshold to the dining room. However, a person with some disabilities could comfortably stay on the ground floor, with the ramped porch and two spaces to sleep on the ground floor. There is no level change larger than a threshold. There is a tub/shower on that floor, it's not ADA.

The entire 2,300 square foot house, the pool, and the front and side yards are yours to enjoy. There's a separate small cottage on the half acre. Trusted tenants Deonte and JJ live there. it doesn't intersect with your space.

What makes this property unique

Small town charm, but so close to everything. Old oaks draped in Spanish moss in an historic neighborhood. You will enjoy exploring the rolling hills around Eustis, Lake County, and getting the flavor of Old Florida. There are amazing public springs with 15 or 20 miles. 60 miles to the Atlantic.
