Great stay except for obnoxious neighbor
This is a super cute little apartment. Great place to stay with our toddler. The host was very attentive - the hot water went out one night. He was able to come down right away and fix it.
One minor downside is that when it's cold outside, it's very cold in the front bedroom until you get into the bed, and the floor is very cold against your feet throughout the apartment.
Our big complaint is the other upstairs neighbor (not the host). The guidebook for guests indicates that quiet hours in the building start at 10 PM and loud noise after that will not be tolerated. On Saturday night, there was a strong smell of weed drifting into our apartment off and on over the course of the evening. Worse, the upstairs neighbor started playing music very, very loudly about 9 PM and continued off and on until after 4 AM. We sent the host a message a little after 10, and he said he would try to get the neighbor to quiet down, which we trust that he did, but it didn't do any good. We didn't feel comfortable banging on the ceiling, not knowing how the person upstairs might react. We were fortunate that the noise was concentrated over the front bedroom, and it didn't disturb our daughter at all. When we finally decided to make up the sofa bed in the living room around 3:30 and sleep there for the rest of the night, we could only hear the music a little, and we were finally able to get some sleep. We don't blame the host for other people's behavior, but the situation was extremely frustrating.
